I don't know too much about Reid but saw his highlights...

Would Reid be projected to become a Butters/Rozee type of player or someone different exceeding their talent?

Do you think he will become a full time midfielder in the future or do his work 50:50 forward/midfield?

Anyone else who might have more acknowledge and seen more of Reid please free to put your opinion.

Butters and Rozee have burst speed, jhf too, and are line breakers. Reid doesnt run and carry often and is more of a Pendles/Mitchell who gets the ball, sees an option and delivers it quickly.

I reckon they'll be more impressed when they go home and Google his name than they will when they go home and Google Matthew Primus or Lance Whitnall who they also would never have heard of.

Yeah sorry my reaction was a bit extreme. Just I remember watching him on the old VFL replays when I was a young fella and he was a superstar. One of the names from North's era of greatness that has always stuck with me.

But I agree, I was surprised when I saw he was presenting the guernsey.

Keith Greig handing over the jumper is cool. I'm sure we've had players in the past have interactions with Russell & Jack and probably had no idea who they were initially but they would soon learn lessons about the history of the club and realise that they'd just spoken with club royalty.

Because we've gone all in on him making it through the ND without anyone calloing his name. We haven't left enough list spots or late picks to match a late bid on him. No stress though, because we've got Rory Atkins and Jed McEntee...

Would the clubs already know how tonight is playing out?

Most years they would have a very good idea, I suspect this year is different because of the clubs with multiple picks (especially Richmond) drafting for reasons other than best player available. Also because those clubs can trade picks to clubs who might have a very specific ranking.

This year could have a few surprises after say pick 7. The order seems to be settling at the top for the moment, but that could be a bit of groupthink and a pick swap could throw it out.
