Played 2 rounds, got dropped, came back as sub, actually had a decent start v Crows, then injured his hand, tried, injured again and that was '21.
'22 he played at Sandy and popped up for 3 games where he regressed horribly.
'23 he got told "your services are no longer required" having been stuck at Sandy.

Reference the kicks the ball well to show how Ratts saw skill issues as hey, they went forward...

Explains Arie's debut, will be nice to see him play the Nas role and have the ball fed to him with his 70m bombs. If he plays well and Nas returns after the bye, could be trouble for Bonner

Stocker, Doug, Webster, Nas all out of our best 7 in the backline. Big opportunity for Paton to reassert himself

Highmore was unlucky. He's too good for VFL and still a gun player at that level.

PS: From what I recall he was a decent intercept mark, but his defensive skill were poor and his kicks tended to be floaters.

The team is wrong but the story is correct.
It was against Freo.

Jones hey, I hope he is the sub - it's a really strange choice when Garcia is available. I know we need to support Saints players but I'm not a fan of Jones. I like Seb, he's been a warrior but again, what can he do that Hugo cannot?

I thought Paton was a chance with the injury to Webster (and Stocker still out - thanks Danger). I'll be surprised if we can control Charlie.

Happy to see Sharman in for Membrey, better not be sub.

Good old Cordy break glass option again, imagine getting murdered by Levi bloody Casboult then getting promoted. Not much we can do about that though.

I feel it's going to be a long night tomorrow night. Considering the predicament we seem to be in, I'd rather see kids like Garcia and Hastie running around.
