Well that was a very disappointing end to what was, for the most part, one of the season's most entertaining qualifying session in terms of hard racing in difficult conditions.

Will catch the race action on the replay in the morning. Good night friends. And especially you Bedi - enjoy the race mate and remember to take fresh air breaths out from under the plastic coverall once in a while. Hope you have a trusty boat booked for the float back to your your accommodation at the end of the race action.

Geez Sergio is an example of why driver sponsorship should be limited because if not for it he would be gone. What a joke.

Back to the race will be a weird one today I still think Max will try and get up somewhere late in the top 10 but lando needs to win today. Could change the whole picture.

No way he makes it to the race

The others would be touch and go, Colapinto I think should make it (particularly if Albons side of the team go and help).

I reckon albon will. The damage to the back of the car didn't look terrible to me the main pod is relatively in tact its all the suspension that's the issue. So long as they haven't run out of the right parts (hopefully not) he might get to the line.

The others should get there including the Aston martins.

Just watched it, holy shit, glad I watched delay to skip the flags.

I agree the red flag should have been instant. It's simple, If it's a red flag accident the point is to prevent driving past the accident. All those finishing laps drove past when they could have been in the pits. You can not substitute finished laps for safety, especially given how unsafe the track was for 5 red flags. Bianchi died on yellows in the wet.

Absolutely

The attitude of Crofty and Karun in the commentary box was nothing short of disgraceful, just because they wanted Norris to get his lap in. Sky make an effort to apologise whenever someone god forbid says a bad word near a microphone, but arguing against F1 safety measures is just as if not more egregious in my view.

It’s a cult of Brits and unfortunately we have to listen to their crap. Does Karun ever shut up? My god the whole time, for a 💩 driver he certainly has a lot of opinions.

I'd rather Ant Davidson or Jenson in the box after Martin goes, not Karun.

Hang on hang on. Verstappen is just being bullshitted now. He starts 17 despite Sainz starting from the Pit lane because he had a 5 grid penalty. So doesn't matter who in front of him starts from the Pitlane he will be 17th regardless. That does not seem right at all.
