You think they would take a couple off crippa
Yes and I think I saw a round earlier when McKay did that with a 3 vote performance.
It looks like the umps hardly notice anything over than the midfield.

They forget the other players names.Clueless umpires just give 3 votes to Cripps because they are too dumb/scared to give it to anyone else
Sure as hell won't be a Geelong player after you absolutely choked after a week off. LolCan anyone confirm it is impossible for Cripps to win the Gary Ayres award.
Rumour has it he's come in to Norm Smith favouritism for Saturday.
29 disposals per game
16 contested possessions
8 clearances
0.7 goals (17 goals)
0.5 goal assists
7 score involvements
5 tackles
Superb season.
This is for the history buffs out there, has there even been a midfield trio that polled as much as the swans trio did this year ? Their accomplishments is getting overshadowed by the 45 vote record.
He is also the favourite to win the Clive Churchill Medal and the Cox Plate. Can anyone confirm it is impossible for Cripps to win the Gary Ayres award.

Robert Harvey got 32 votes in 1998, under this voting he would have cracked 50.Fyfe would have gone 50+ with this voting in 2015
It’s turned into such a terrible award now. I remember growing up and any position player could win it from any side. Now there are probably 20 players who have a realistic chance of winning a Brownlow at the start of each season.
look at the spread too. Mids, key forwards, rucks.
Now it's just which mid can accumulate the most touches, meaningful or otherwise.
The guy who has 10 career votes?
Green shouldn't have polled 3 against Hawthorn in their comeback win. Daniels won them the game in the last qtr but I find it strange that 5 goals up at 3 qtr time we couldn't get anyone in the votes. They didn't have the 3 best players on the ground.Cripps a worthy winner, should be the headline.
But it won't because of the ludicrous count. It's not just him either, guys like Butters and Green in the high 20s when they had good years but nothing spectacular. Disposals and being in/under seem to be the only real factors now.
Maybe because this has jumped the shark so spectacularly there will be some sort of long overdue recalibration. Ideally a new voting method, but if not then something that at least brings more rigour to the process.
He'd also never get pinged for holding the ballRobert Harvey got 32 votes in 1998, under this voting he would have cracked 50.
Ouch. You got me.Sure as hell won't be a Geelong player after you absolutely choked after a week off. Lol
Yeah because the dogs have more than 1 good midfielder.Cripps polled 26 more votes than the Bont, Wowee
