I don’t rate MVP actually. Reckon a bit too much jealousy when peers voting.

The beauty of the Brownlow is in the insight it provides into the mystery of the umpires’ (collective) brains.

We are gobsmacked all season at some of their decisions. Why wouldn’t be surprised at their game day voting?

Umpires are different to the rest of us.

Rd 12 22 disposals but 9 disposals and 2 goals in the last qtr. I reckon the umpires pet will get 2 votes.

And from round 15-24 I’ve got him getting votes in every game except Rd 22.
