Poll is very even, Scythe94. What do you make of it?
Still haven't made my mind up, though Smith and Draper are probably out in front (but with some reservations, namely that they will likely be off the board by our pick).

As smart as Reid is, I'm a touch worried that he lacks a real point-of-difference weapon for a midfielder that small (not overly quick, and his kicking is tidy but not remarkable).

Next group would be Langford, Lalor and O'Sullivan, but honestly, it's a bit hard to assess FOS based off his injuries and the fact that I've watched less of him. Lalor and Langford are good prospects, but find myself drawn to the smaller, zippier types who use the ball better. Lalor seems a very Melbourne/Taylor pick though, and I wouldn't be surprised if that's who we landed on.

Not really interested in Smillie at all – his main calling card is that he's big, but I haven't seen much that screams top-five pick outside of that.

Gun to my head, I'd probably say Draper. But not expecting him to be available.

My two preferences are Draper or Langford.

Alternatively we could try to split the pick.

This is what this period is reminding me of.

Predictably Liam baker has now nominated WC for trade. Shai Bolton next?

We should go after those Freo picks with our future first! (They want them for Chad warner next year).
So FF(2025) for Picks 9+10(2024)?

Kane Cornes on SEN saying that Melbourne would be crazy to give up 2 first-rounders for Houston, and speculating that our willingness to do so is related to Goodwin etc. not caring about the long-term because they want to keep their jobs in the short-term. Cornes for Melbourne List Manager?

There is no way Kane isn't reading bigfooty

He is deadset on the money either way.

Rather he talks about that then rolling out the classic “but DeEs NeEd a KEy fOrWaRd” line like most supposed experts keep running with.

Barrett constantly showing he has done **** all analysis on us every time he opens his mouth and mentions which ageing forward we should throw all our picks at.

We would be crazy to do it just for the reason that no one else is getting close to offering 2 firsts.

Not even 1 top 10 first rounder - unless he actually chooses North (unlikely) but even then it is next year's draft and who knows what pick it will be and how strong the draft will be.
