Yeah, the 3rd rounder and a swap of F3s is fair. I think we take just the 3rd rather than keeping a player who we've farewelled and wants to go elsewhere.

Anything else from either side is just part of the show / process to get to one of these outcomes.

We're not getting their 2nd by itself (maybe with some really beneficial future swaps for them, but they'd prefer current picks) and we're not accepting a 4th or 4th + F4.

I'm just wondering if Barrass was playing Hawthorn the way he played us (twice!) to get a better deal from West Coast. I'd be very cautious.

West Coast loading up on next year's draft stocks for Warner.

I dunno why the media keep reporting that either team needs to load up with picks to trade for Warner next year.

He will be uncontracted and that along with the ability to trade picks two years in advance means neither West Coast or Fremantle need to do anything.

Except Barrass is contracted and West Coast aren't losing him regardless unlike we were with Dawson.
