Yep they will probably be a 0 or 1 win team in 2025 but should start to be balanced and a good side come Tassies entry in 2027 imo. It takes time but if they don't go for 6 midfielders this year and balance it out then in the long run they will be better
Yeah, but also ripe for a few of them getting convinced to join Tassie on big $$ and other clubs will be waiting too.

First 3-4 best available, then next 3 or 4 specific gaps.

Tassie will pick the Tassie players i recon and not the Vic Metro players that Richmond are targetting. So i think Richmond will be fine, its the Will Days Mckercher and Leake that i think Tassie will go big for

North are more at danger with Colby McKercher there for the taking

More that they'll be coming off their first contracts and being sounded out. Especially if the money is better and Tigers are still trash. Not just Tassie that would be poaching.

Tassie would need to demonstrate they're getting a good mix of mature players though, no-one would want 2-3 years of Tiger rebuild to join a team of kids that will take 3-4 years before finals are a chance.

Surely they have learnt from the GC farce and prioritised off field before Tassie come in

I hear what your saying but don't think the Tigers if they select the right kids will be in too much danger

Being one of the big 4 clubs help, always are playing big games regardless

I think for Vic players, particularly metro, it'd be the other Vic clubs that are the threat. They'd want to lock away any interstate talent before contracts run out, because they'll have an awful lot of re-signing to do and clubs facing a dearth of 18 year olds due to Tassie will be knocking on their door.

Everyone talks about how good a draft hand Richmond have , which is true but let's also look at what they've lost. Their current B&F winner (Rioli), their best forward (Bolton), their Mr Fixit i(Baker) and free agent Graham. Add to that the retirements of their captain )Grimes) and another reasonably handy player (Martin).
So even if they get most of these draft picks right, they are not going to be significantly better off than they were last year.
I remember in 2004 when they had 5 picks in the first 20 and they all proved to be duds other than Delidio.
Richmond are going to be roadkill for the next 3 years.

At least it builds the next dynasty, no point trying to come 10th being out of the prime selections. Take your medicine, take the glut of top 5 picks, rebuild through the draft/trade for star power. Their fans would be fine with it, they have had their success. Much rather their list than a few middling teams that haven't done this like Essendon for one.

Richmond are tanking its just a more veiled form of it.

Swans have met Luke Kennedy 3 times , Melbourne keen as well and meeting the Filth on Saturday , i want him .
I would love to get him in actually. With how Jordon turned out hopefully we can put him in the best position to succeed. May become part of the Parker trade.

Seems a similar style of player to Rowbottom?
Reads as more of a mixed inside/outside. Can get the ball inside, maybe not as contested as Rowy, but also as a link/outlet going into 50, but not as big of a burst or dynamic as Warner.

Would leave it up to those who have watched him though.

Maybe a 2 way Hanners type.

He's from Sandy Dragons !
Oh
Face Palm What GIF by SWR3

Not surprised in the Sandy side he’s the forgotten mid no frills player
