I would not be able to pick David Cuningham out of a line-up.
If he can be a pressure forward then I'm all for it. Anything else seems pointless.
I don't think he ever played as a forward for a long period of time.I would not be able to pick David Cuningham out of a line-up.

What sort of a role would we envision him playing for us though?I don't think he ever played as a forward for a long period of time.
My knowledge of him is he is a good kick and fast. Body regularly fell apart
Depth. His ability to play a number of roles is his plus but I don't think we see him as making our 23What sort of a role would we envision him playing for us though?
Do any of those roles specialise in defensive pressure or the contest?Depth. His ability to play a number of roles is his plus but I don't think we see him as making our 23
He's a shorter version of FoxDo any of those roles specialise in defensive pressure or the contest?

Who is David Cuningham?

And his troll post yesterday was about when they get ChadMaybe not, but it still feels like an odd thing to be going onto another team's board to discuss.
Cochran is likely a 50+ pick or rookie draft selection. Dunno why another team's supporter would care.
If you read his player thread on the Blues board it looks like a long shot but worth investigating
Very highly rated wing/ half forward fast silky with great skills, able to hit the ball at extreme pace (Judd like!)
He should probably go to Brisbane though, their medicos seem to be able to work miracles
History will record this as the only point in time at which David Cunningham was compared to Chris Judd.
A truly momentous occasion.
Alas, 58 games in 9 seasons is Sam Reid-esque.LOL I’m only repeating what the Blues fans said
In fairness, if you watch his highlights he does move similar to Judd with that breakaway pace from the contest
The team's needs, IMO, are more players suited to the contest, players who offer defensive pressure, and tall forwards. I think any recruit who doesn't tick any of these boxes is not filling a need and actually risks becoming surplus to needs. So I don't think we can just discard the positions they've played. It informs who they are as players and what they can and can't do for us.Posters get too focused on a recruits position. Players roles change to fit the teams needs
I agree. We have a very soft underbelly and often wilt under pressure, whether that's from teams like Tigers to the very best like Brisbane. The team's needs, IMO, are more players suited to the contest, players who offer defensive pressure, and tall forwards. If he is not part of a team that has lost two Grand Finals in 24 months by 60 & 80 points then we'll take him.If you read his player thread on the Blues board it looks like a long shot but worth investigating

So a shorter version of someone who despite actually turning up in grand finals, would be out of most people's Best 22s (because we want to be successful apparently). He's a shorter version of Fox
He spent 9 years at Carlton. If he is not part of a team that has lost two Grand Finals in 24 months by 60 & 80 points then we'll take him.
At least he isn't head f k d.
That's a good starting point.
