Reid for meHmm Cadman, Reid or Thomas on field?
Thanks mate.Yes. lower goes in first and then the higher.
Let's be a little objective for a moment:If he plays back he will go big but if in the middle he will cop finn tag. If no fin then i will captain 100%. I think thats where everyone is at. But nobody knows where he will play
Noice options!Just Martin (VC) and Dawson tonight. Have two backup C options in Dunks and Anderson
That Oliver 86 is the equivalent of him going 186 last year. Gone at 50 average last 2 weeks lmaoLet's be a little objective for a moment:
Finn Maginness
Round 1 Plays Essendon as the Sub - shocks all as he was expected to go to Merrett and didn't - comes on at 3/4 time for paltry 14
Round 2 Plays Melbourne and tags an obviously injured Oliver - keeps him to 86 and scores 57 himself
Round 3 Geelong - not selected to play
Round 4 Plays Collingwood and tags NDaicos until half time - "keeps" him to 95 and score 64 himself
Round 5 Plays Goldy and tags Flanders but he gets off the chain and scores 125, while Finn gets a healthy 78 and scores 3 goals
I think the more Finn plays to impact the game, as Mitchell is now expecting of him, the more his opponent has a chance of being "off the chain":
Harry Sheezel
Round 1 Plays GWS at Spotless split HB to Mid with no obvious cover and goes 120 (31 / 44 / 17 / 28)
Round 2 Plays Fremantle under the lid at half back with no obvious cover and goes 121 (26 / 46 / 19 / 30)
Round 3 Plays Carlton under the lid down back with no obvious cover and goes 126 (32 / 34 / 30 / 30)
Round 4 Plays Brisbane at Norwood down back with Zac Bailey for company and goes 121 (18 / 46 / 38 /19)
Round 5 Plays Geelong at Geelong down back, and goes 159 (42 / 28 / 37 /57) and kicks a goal
That so called worrisome tag could be effective, but the odds are with Sheezel when you look at it objectively because Maginness has tagged less, and when he does is being held more accountable by the coach to have his own effect. This, quite apart from Maginness, is one of the softest games Sheezel has had in 6 weeks when you look at who he has played so far.
That hand was a bigger worry than was let on I suspect. That Oliver 86 is the equivalent of him going 186 last year. Gone at 50 average last 2 weeks lmao
Graham less of a chance to be subbed - has more score on the board from the past two - at least you can wait until Sunday and check whether Graham subbed....Play Kerch or Graham on field?
Swallow to be sub again, he knows his roleGraham less of a chance to be subbed - has more score on the board from the past two - at least you can wait until Sunday and check whether Graham subbed....
Only Martin tonight with Crouch riding the pine like he usually does.
Watch on Dawson and what mid time he gets. At some point he needs to step up as captain and lead the team like he did last year.
If he does that soon and he's in the low 900 to 800k range I'm buying him
Counter-point: This is the first game this season that the Hawks think at the start of the game they are a good chance at winning it.Think you have to lock in Sheez as C this week, and not doing it is just overthinking:
I also need to show loyalty to him after his 159 as C last week, it would be blasphemy to steal the captaincy away from him after that showing. Lock him in for a 170
- He is the highest scoring player in the game
- Hawthorn is the second easiest team to score against
- If he roams around half-back, we know he will score points
- If he goes into the midfield, Hawthorn is comfortably the easiest team for midfielders to score against in the league
- I still don't think he will go into the midfield - Will Phillips is a pure midfielder and has replaced Wardlaw, LDU and Powell will retains their spots in the CBA rotation, and Lazzaro/Simpkin/McKercher will run through there as well
- Why would you experiment with Sheezel in the midfield for the first time this year during a game where you are actually a good shot for a win? Surely not the game for experimental selections
I’m locking him in. If he goes 60 I’m still averaging 110 with him as CaptainThink you have to lock in Sheez as C this week, and not doing it is just overthinking:

Counter-counter-point: Sheezel is the GOATCounter-point: This is the first game this season that the Hawks think at the start of the game they are a good chance at winning it.
Look at what Bulldogs did last night. I expect Hawks to turn up big time against North and make it much harder to score against them.
Counter-counter-point: Sheezel is the GOAT
Clarko v his old team. He's not going into this game half cockedWardlaw rest maybe Sheezel slots into the mid mix.
3/4's perhapsClarko v his old team. He's not going into this game half cocked
Kerch and sanders to Garcia and Graham might hurt this week. Up the top not everyone has gawn either
But realised with the 500k, I can do Massimo (on my bench) to daicos, and Dempsey (hard run coming up) to a fwd premo. That's 2 rookies off field next week hopefully can stay around the 400 ranks this week and full launch
Btw I got inside word Finn is tagging sheezel, fyi for everyone
