Is Hotton coming back from an ACL? Not that keen on him not because of that but due to him being Vic metro and what happened to his brother and why he didn’t make it in the afl
For Oli Back injury in his first year and #35 and not sure on how many games this year
Although Taj maybe a talent he does scream go home factor to me and I haven’t seen any interviews with him and will wait until draft night and see
This could be the year the club looks to trade the next years 1st if they are keen to move up the draft with how highly this year is rated and would be good to pick Travaglia if the club does work out a way to get high enough
Keen for a trio of TT, Lindsay, Shanahan, Smith and a speculative pick in the later rounds or before Smith depending on bids
Taj has made positive comments about the Giants. In particular Jones and his ACL recovery.
I read someone say they thought he'd be very happy to come to the Giants.
FYI this is no ITK comments just padding on what I read and have no idea how accurate it is.
It the club think he is a risk and pass I'm ok with that.

For a lot of prospects the idea of moving is extremely daunting to begin with, but as they go through the year, meet more clubs, hear more pitches about how the move works, get sold on the independence they'll get, so on and so forth, they'll generally open up to the idea more and more, hence he, and others, are certainly more receptive to it than they previously were

I think we trade up.
If for pick 2 North want 6,11, Richmond only offer 6,18,
then we can do 15,16, for 11,23. Richmond do 6, 16 for 2.
Gives Richmond 1,2,10,15,18, 20,24 I think.
We have 11,21,23.
Get an elite midfielder with 11, at least another mid with 21 or 23.

That would be a reasonable trade from my perspective. Whether Richmond would do it ... given the rumours that they want to hold #6 at all costs.

Maybe north and Richmond gave already agreed for 2 for 10,11. Just being kept secret as a " surprise" live trade.
Who knows. There was a suggestion on the Eagles board I think that we rejected a 3 for 15,16 swap in trade week?
Rubbish surely, unless it was 3 for 15,16,F1 we rejected.
Also maybe trading up is wishful thinking. I read somewhere there is regarded as a probably 3 tiers in the first round of the draft. Not as big a gap as normal between the tiers, but 1 to 6, then 7 to 14 are the first two tiers, then a bit of a drop to 15 and onwards.

Carlton recruiters believe the top 5 in this draft are the strongest ever. Ashcroft not in the top 5 best in the draft. They convinced Voss their pick 3 choice will make a better contribution in 2025 than Houston would have.
Sounds like a stretch
Where is this reported? Or do you know ( or know someone that knows) one of the Carlton recruiters.

The talk of us rejecting pick 3 for 15 & 16 came from WA journo Ryan Daniels who normally has very good Intel with the wa teams. So would seem we have little interest in moving up and if other rumours are to be believed we are not looking to move up, but instead open to splitting first Rd picks for later pick and having as many shots in top 30 of this draft as possible.
