We will have at least 8 changes, I can guarantee that. Likely more outs than ins so we leave a spot open (we had a max 45 player list this year)

FB: Wilkie, Doug, Webster
HB: Nas, Caminiti, Sinclair
C: Wood, Steele, Wilson
HF: Hill, King, Owens
FF: Rowan, Sharman, Higgins
RR: Soldo, Phillipou, Windhager
INT: Macrae, Butler, Byrnes, Henry

Clark stiff. Windy to rotate through half back as the 7th defender
That looks pretty good, although I would be surprised if we got another ruck. I know they are all different types of players, but unless Butler can turn back the clock, I would have Clark and Garcia well ahead of him.

He signed on a 6 year deal, the afl only take into consideration 5. So if it is 850 then all we need them to do is front end it and it bumps the 5 over 900. Band one.
That's what the supposed Hawk itk told Baker on the other thread.
Sounds like it was worked out between clubs.
Scenario like
Saints: we will offer more to keep him
Hawks: he wants to come how about first 5 @900k and last at 550k will that suit you?
Saints: ok let's check with AFL
Saints: ok deal we wont increase offer, and alsoget band1 according to AFL.
Saints Contact: hey yipper.

Yeah, umm, well, that bit there about half way down where you're sort of trying to make out that Brett Ratten wasn't shit, but you're sort of skipping over all the shit and then hanging your own shit onto the club based on the shit you're trying to make up. That there is why you have no credibility. The couple of gooses that liked your post were gringo and a hawks supporter. I'm gringo was just appreciating the art form though.
Sad to read your response..seems like "sh*t" is your standby word..maybe you're better off posting on the Collingwood forum. Credibility is in the eye of the beer holder.

What a d*ckhead.
His team has been given SO many gifts in the last few years, and will continue to get rewarded for trashing their own list.

Completely unhinged 🤪

Some people in the media are saying its as little as 50k difference.

In other words, they all actually have no idea at all. Hell, none of them had any definite idea of what the outcome was going to be even yesterday.

The media get their information almost exclusively from player managers (outside of leaky places like the demons atm) who will drop ballpark figures to influence the deals they are attempting to get over the line.

As soon as that deal is reached they are not going to be offering any more information unless their client says they can and when the contracts are actually signed they will have confidentiality agreements. This is why no one in the media can ever give actual specific dollar values, they can only do a best educated guess.
Contract size , money and other benefits they have offered to him would of swayed the move.
who knows what else they offered - a job for his wife , baby sitting , car , etc

Well, maybe I agree on more delistings, but if they were to be both Hayes & Membrey, that leaves us with a shortage of key-forward depth. And don't know how we are gonna find any to replace them in this draft & trade.

Out of your list, I agree on Paton, if Bonner can be delisted after playing 19 games, why would we keep Paton, don't need him as depth even.

Crouch, only if his knee is stuffed, & he has actually
triggered an extra year contract.

Hotton is still only a 19 y.o whose 1st season was pretty much written off due to back injury. So would be stiff.

I named 7, so reckon you are being abit picky haha.

Why would we want soldo when he couldn’t even beat out Jordon Sweet and wants to move again a year after going to Port?

Marshall was almost AA ruck this year, only reason to get another ruck is if a gun emerges who wants to come to us. Soldo is not that.
