Geez Monty is such a good commentator. Always quality insights....the polar opposite of Jordan Lewis

Clearly rate your own opinion. Wilson will be a good player for us but let’s face it, he played one really good game in the second half of the season. If he was a 3rd year player we would have played a good chunk of that time at Sandy. He won’t be gifted games in his second year, just like Phillipou.

Wilson's stats for his first year, compared to player who shall remain nameless.

Wilson: 23 games P1 : 16 games.
Wilson : Averaage Disposals 15 P1 : 11
Wilson : average contested possessions : 5 P1: 5
Wilson : Average clearances 1 P1 1.5
Wislons: Average tackles 2 P1 ,1

Who is Player1?

Peatling probably won't leave GWS anymore. He loves it there, the only reason why he'd leave was for more opportunity. Now he's best 22. No reason for him to leave

We'll probably go hard for Macrae now. Probably will try to find another player as a cheap bargain buy...

Macrae has a firm offer, or offers, to go. Most likely we are one.

Peatling is as you say now first 22, no longer true fringe in talent list. Is a Sydney Boy, and is already playing finals. Money would be the only reason why he may have considered us a fora while. Money is rarely the key reason why a player moves.

Macrae is on the outer at the Dogs now, so has every reason to move.

Peatling would have been the much better fit both for the longterm.

Macrae is probably the better immediate fit, though will have a very limited shelf-life. As such we need to gain him without expending significant trade capital to avoid biting us on the bum in the long term just afor a quick sugar hit. Hopefully taking over his contract will have the Dogs willing to let him go in for minimal trade cost.

This is the worst post in a very competitive field. Has to be a wind up

2nd rounder now for Peatling. Sadly it’s Flanders all over again
So basically the pick GWS gave us for sliding back one spot last year, I'm okay with that. If we can convince them to make it a future, even better.
