I still think Warner is in play. He might want to see out his contract with Sydney, but Sydney might want to cash in now. It'll be a first and a second next year for Warner. If Sydney move him this year, it could be pick 10 + F1st.

Sydney have the depth to cover Warner as well. It's a no brainer.

No chance they trade Warner this year, they don’t want draft picks they want flags…

Brisbane and GC are stacked with forwardline talent. I doubt either club entertains him. Locked and loaded to Freo.

A 30yo with 3 games for 3 goals in 2024 and always injured. Ummm why?

It may be a free hit as far as trade cost. But the extra workload on the S&C and physios having to spread themselves thinner won't be free. Taking on a perrenially injured player has an impact internally.

IMO a waste of a list spot, even as a rookie. We've done quite well out of some of our rookie picks including Tabs, Sandi, Barlow, and Treacy. Would prefer to look for the next one of those instead.

For me it's go hard on Bolton + Kosi and draft whatever isn't used.

SSP makes sense to me. You get a good look at him before committing and if he breaks down multiple times over summer you know not to waste the list spot.
