How stupid?Far from it. His hair just looks like straw.
I'd rather be bald than have hair like his. Well not really. If I had hair like his I'd style it properly so it doesn't look like I've got horse feed on my head. Looks like he's cut his hair himself. How stupid?
I mean how? Stupid!
I am bald...wouldn't mind some straw.
I don’t mind how MJ is developing at all, I think he will be a solid player in time for us.I’m pretty sure Johnson will be a good player (brain fades not withstanding) but if I had choice I’m taking lohmann every day of the week
type of footballer you enjoy watching even as oppo fan
certainly helps his type player we need too
He was very, very good mate. Have loved the kid all season. Missed an easy goal and had a poor few moments late, but damn his first 3 quarters was exciting.I only watched the 2nd half but I thought lohman actually lost quite a few crucial contests and made some poor decisions when it got hot plus missed quite an easy goal. Was a nice mark though and he's certainly dynamic.
Lohman is literally what Freddy should be doing. Instead, Freddy just cruises around in second gear and puts in a good game every once in a while. So frustrating because he has that potential. He was very, very good mate. Have loved the kid all season. He was doing the same thing as Lohman at the same time point in his career. Even this season both going at 1.2 goals a game. It's pretty obvious that Freddy's role has changed with Schultz leaving and Walters turning to shit. It's not unexpected that he's gone backwards this year. Not much point getting frustrated over one poor season under those circumstances and comparing him to a guy who's output is pretty similar to what he has done before.Lohman is literally what Freddy should be doing. Geelongs arguably got the best small forwards behind Hawks and that did them well...
Having smalls is great but useless when your mids kick it forward the way Geelong did after half time.
Take this with a grain of salt..
Small forwards? Cameron sure. Rayner and Bailey are part time midfielders. Lohmann is a Medium forward. Ah Chee was kicking less goals a game than Walters this year.I think Brisbane probably have the best with Cameron, Rayner, lohman, Ah Chee, Bailey and an injured McCarthy and that did them even better

Bad taste. Too stringy. Too blonde. Same could be said about half the Geelong team too.
I get where you're coming from and not having a go but I see Freddy as the player who's suffered the most from our inconsistent delivery into the forward line. In my opinion Freddy is often free and then gets the ball kicked over his head or he gets missed by 15 metres with a simple pass. No one benefits more if get more class in our team. I can see Freddy and Sturt being our most improved players next year if either have a good run in the preseason without injuries. Freddys had his last 2 preseasons ruined by injury and Sturt's never had an injury free preseason as far as I can recall.Lohman is literally what Freddy should be doing. Interestingly, when the AFL released all the new rule changes for 2024 in February, one of the rule changes was:No still 16. Port finished higher than both these teams.
Makes sense, but no way they actually changed it.Interestingly, when the AFL released all the new rule changes for 2024 in February, one of the rule changes was:
After finals week 1 under these rules:
- The in-finals ranking system has been codified to determine the 'home' club for Grand Finals in both the AFL and AFLW. The winners of the Qualifying Finals will be ranked first and second, the losers of the Qualifying Finals ranked third and fourth (the higher of the two clubs on the premiership ladder will be third) and the winners of the Elimination Finals ranked fifth and sixth (the higher of the two clubs on the premiership ladder will be fifth)
1. Sydney
2. Geelong
3. Port
4. Giants
5. Brisbane
6. Hawks
Under these rules Port's pick would come before Geelong's due to them taking a higher ranking after FW1.
The question is whether this in-finals ranking system also relates to draft picks or not. Realistically it should if they are seeding the teams like this, but knowing the AFL they probably still use the old method
Very solid player. I just checked he's contracted until 2025 so we'd have to make a decent offer to get him.I do love the left field hilarity of someone like Brad Close being linked to Freo.
I also love the instant analysis of him by some.
Is a solid player.
Hopefully it changes this year but we simply don’t spend enough draft capital in the front half of the ground. One was pick 20. The other pick 61.
If I could take one speccy like that I'd happily sport a bleached Fritsch/Waterman combo.Bad taste. Too stringy. Too blonde. Same could be said about half the Geelong team too.
