I read the quotes and he said basically "I haven't seen him say or do anything to suggest that he's not 100% commited." which is different to him saying "Fyfe is 100% committed."

It's funny he wins a brownlow playing as a pure mid and then we immediately move him out of that position and make him spend more time up forward. Now when we desperately need a midfielder like him we don't have one.

In junior days it was him and his brother handballing it to each other constantly ones, twos, back and forth then a goal. They never had to put their head over it because they were physically superior and quicker than the other team.

When I was talking about Fyfe to the East coast because Gold Coast has been chirping about having a big name coming in, it wasn't because Fyfe was happy to take a low value contract at Freo - it's because other teams over there can lure a pair of brownlows on AFL subsidised money.

I think AFL teams should do one off jumpers more, especially the old Vic teams. Probably have more misses than hits 1 or 2 a year would be good (excluding year round events like Indigenous round).
