Got to be honest I’m not thrilled about the Teakle pick. I know we need ruck depth, but he just doesn’t do it for me. More of an athlete than an AFL footballer.

I don’t see what’s changed in the last 6 months for him to go from delisted to re-rookied again.

None of those forwards in MSD are worth a 3rd round pick in the trade period. You dont find big keys in the midseason, you find small players/gems. We found an okay second/third defender. Aint no premiership Key Forward in the midseason

This pick couldn't be less relevant to Goad. Free is what he's always been, backup and if everything goes perfect for him he might get games. If he did I'd hope he knocks it out of the park.

I feel like people's expectations of the MSD are wildly over optimistic. Any solid player from these still on a list 2 years later is a win for mine and an unexpected one at that.

Free won't be there come the end of the season. Goad is a fair way off physically.
