Armstrong, Hannaford, Whitlock/Shanahan/Trainor potentially.

Our openness to do that deal will depend on who we think is there at that pick if we are adjusting the requirements for a top 10 pick. Likewise, Port obviously have their eye on someone. Im thinking it's someone like Travaglia or Reid.

Would love Shanahan, Hannaford and Gerreyn

The only issue with those proposed trades is someone that's even more ITK, Brady Rawlings, said we would only slide back a few spots from 2

Yeah, it's nice the club are fielding offers but one thing our guys have never done is undervalue those top picks.

Though in this scenario we are getting 3 early picks instead on 2 which I'm sure he would have been intending with only a slight slide back.

Wouldn't be the end of the world if we end up with 3 picks inside 21.

A mega trade will only work if we finish with +2 net picks.

Rich Give 10 + 11 + 24 Get 2 + 29
GWS Give 15 + 21 Get 13 + 24
Port Give 13 + 29 Get 10
North give 2 Get 11 + 15 + 21

Really depends on who they think they want with the first pick.

You want to be confident Tauru or Armstrong reach that pick.

Good one sphynx

That looks kinda familiar lol

Could work

So we give 2 and get 11 and Port give 13 and get 10?

Hell no. We could just take 10 and 11 from Richmond

You are forgetting the "North needs to help everyone else" tax.

We are the desperate ones remember.- Pick 2 is valued the same as pick 6, which is really not much more than 11 in this stacked draft. The best player could be from pick 30. Blah blah

:drunk:

Port sliding up to try and nab the Adelaide boy is an interesting development ahead of Adelaide, I had assumed it would be the Tigers sliding up to stop Carlton from drafting FoS.

All in all it means we should be able to leverage a decent deal should we want it.

You talking about Bo Allan? He's a WA kid isn't he? Or you referring to someone else in Port's sights?

6+10+11 for 2+F1 should still 100% be the aim........maybe the 11 changes out a little.

Or

6+10/11 for 2+F2
I actually see both of those scenarios as being fair for both clubs. The Tuggers supporters are absolutely delusional about the worth of their picks. They bent over everyone else so hard they think they can do it to us as well.
I could even see 6+10+18+F2 for pick 2 and F1.

They've been ably supported in the media too, with Richmond supporting PR consultants.

There's a great old racing saying, "Always back self interest......at least you know it's trying!"

Richmond have been incredibly arrogant in all of this. I hope we just shut the door on them and start talking with St. Kilda with the possibility of getting GWS involved.
Its all just posturing and negotiation. North wont make a deal unless it works for us. Same with Tigers. always read between the lines with trade talk as they condition fans and signal other clubs.

Brady said would only trade back from 2 if only moving back afew spots. (Unsure how many but not sure that is 7) Prob where he sees Tauru or Armstrong landing.

Tigers are "reluctant" to part with 6. That means we will give 6 but expect less on the back end.

Otherwise fans just making noise

I like the 7 + f1 deal. I'd just keep the f1 for next year

Still need more picks in this years draft now the Sleevo is gone and Pink has been delisted to be rookied.

If we keep St.Kilda's F1 and then trade our F1 to GWS for two of 15, 16 or 21 then it looks ok. Something like 7, 15 and 21
