What a wild morning. Was worried about dead games but there were some unexpected clinkers.

Capped of with a 44 point effort in an OT win by the panthers to make A11dAtP0w3R day
Mate "its all about building a winning culture" ... **** I hate it when fans who think they are educated trot that shit out. You know what builds a winning culture? Getting the highest quality players in the draft.

Serves me right for trolling manureid for the past two weeks for pointless wins. :tearsofjoy:

You know what else builds a winning culture? Winning.

Tell me how pointless wins at the end of last season for the Giants and Raiders worked out this season. **** that, give me the better pick.

I am with A11dAtP0w3R what’s the point of winning a pointless game that moves you draft spot down 3 spots in a pretty weak draft top talent wise. There are 4 premium defenders in this draft 2 only at position of need for panthers why win and take the risk you are now out of range for those guys.
Makes little to no sense.

If you can't see the benefits of today's game for your team, then I'm very sorry.
See you're one of those cringe guys who thinks he's educated that I was talking about. Again, tell me how winning late last season helped the Giants and Raiders this season?

The defense was absolute shite again and needs serious help and you've now likely played yourself out of Mason Graham and Abdul Carter.

I think it depends on where you are in the tank/rebuild cycle

If you don't have a QB (like the Giants and Raiders), then 100% you should not be trying to win and worsen your draft position. If you are playing a team that isn't trying either (say because they are resting all their main players), then a win doesn't do much either

But if you've got a young QB and are playing a team that is actually trying, then I think winning is actually a good thing. If you aren't in the position to be desperate to trade up for a QB, then a 3-4 spot difference in draft position is rarely that big a deal

If prophecy’s actually rolled out of the conveyor belt performing to their ranking, the same 10 teams wouldn’t always be picking in the top 10 spots.

Unless you’re desperate for a QB, and even then Bo Freaking Nix at 12 is about to get to the playoffs in their rookie year…

Giants tanking for Manning next year.

Our DL is so bad, had my heart set on Graham and Carter.

I did just say in the Panthers thread that at least we won with Bryce playing well rather than the 10 def 9 wins like we have done in the past in the final week. Those sort of wins are the worst.

Good, no excellent point. Pity it'll be wasted.
