If the Rams don't have a blitz heavy gameplan they are stupid with how the Vikings have refused to adjust tonight
Yep, reminds me of when Hurts was getting blitzed last year and couldn't handle it.

Is Gibbs playing for incentives? Seems to be the day for it - Geno Smith made $6m today, and Mike Evans made $3m.
Would’ve thought he has well and truly already made any incentives with the season he has had!

This is the list of all players for week 18.

You finish 14-3 and travel to play a 10-7. That's tough, but that's the format, which I wouldn't change BTW.

Definitely.
Adding the extra 17th game already knocks the fairness of schedule out, so really need to compare within not across divisions.

This season is a particularly unusual one though, given the Vikings have a much better division that Rams, and West v North was the intra-conference games.
If you were ever going to change the rule, this would be it.

I overall like the rule. It puts paramount importance on division games.

Yeah don’t get me started we’ve had Tampa, etc host games with what 9-8 seasons at best. Actually a fan of the divisional leaders get the bye, then seed accordingly to record highest wins get the home games.

Rookie contracts don't usually have those sorts of incentives. Instead they get a higher 5th year option salary if they make Pro-Bowl or All-Pro teams

That must be the most demoralising beat downs a team with 12+ wins has ever had with the division on the line.

They celebrated too much lastweek and got slapped down to earth before finishing the job.

We also had 7-9 Seattle host 12 win defending champs New Orleans in 2010 with the beastquake game.

If the Vikings wanted to host a playoff game they should of played with pride today and fight for it. Win the division and sleep at home. Get in as a wild card too bad. Enjoy the hotel life for the post season

Snaps played is also a trigger for the higher option.

Don’t think they were ever winning they had a LOT of luck last week.

However what an abysmal game plan. Throwing the ball every play when their secondary is more banged up than a used car lot? Not taking points, a kicker can’t execute a kickoff, a missed FG, almost missed another one too.

Any change head coaches aren’t stupid away from home and get the basics right? Take the points early keep it within a score

Well done Detroit, although I am a bit disappointed that you're not playing the Rams in a repeat of last year's WC game. It would have been another chapter to the trade that keeps on giving.

Yeah hahah that Seattle one was farcical vaguely remember that year

Plenty of teams have gone the travelling wild card route to the Super Bowl.

This team won’t in fact almost tip the Rams. They give Stafford the opportunities they gave Goff and he’ll put 50 on them
