Thought it was odd that Trey Lance got a start, I figured the cowboys wanted to see what they had.

No just a tight owner wanting to save coin and avoid a relatively small bonus.

More importantly he's either senile or incompetent at his role as a GM if "he wasn't aware"

Bo Nix clearly is just a check down is a YAC bro.
Yep, lot of scheming inflating his stats, which is why I'm not convinced as some on him yet. Still, nothing wrong with taking the easy option if it ends up in a TD.

Like I said about Stroud last year when everyone was ball washing him, year two will tell us a lot more after DCs get to go to work with film on him.

Is Bryce better than Stroud now?

Id probably still rather Stroud right now but another year like this and things will be interesting. Not enough praise given to Dave Canales by people, what's he done 3 years running with 3 different (apparently) broken QBs is remarkable.

Watching the PFF recaps this morning and they are just as high on Penix as me, they are blown away at the throws hes making and what hes done in 3 games. He had the 3rd highest grade by a QB (95.8) all season in this game.

It’s as if the NFL thinks they've had a 17 week season for the past three decades…
There is that but also there are so many really bad teams that allow the decent ones to rack up wins
