There’s no denying his overall record. But he is an obscenely conservative coach in a league that requires at least some risk appetite.

That call is fine if you have an explosive offense and you’re confident the other side likely won’t put up a big score. But in this scenario I think it’s pretty poor.

He’ll probably prove this to be wrong and they’ll win 20-17 with a couple of big defensive turnovers. But it feels like playing away against a more potent team you need to make something happen.

If this goes 14-0 it’s game over.

They add the yardage to reflect the plays potential for yards if the play is completed is my understanding.
