Patriots HC Bill Belichick said he would be willing to give up personnel duties if that was determined to be something that could help the team going forward.
Belichick is essentially saying he is willing to relinquish general manager duties heading into next season. While Belichick’s successes as a coach have been well documented, his failures in the player personnel department — particularly in a post-Tom Brady world, have also been heavily documented. The Patriots have shown a steady decline in recent years, and had their worst season under Belichick this season when they went 4-13 while ranking 30th in offensive yards and 31st in points scored. His willingness to turnover personnel duties to somebody else could be enough to save his job in New England, but it could also make him a more enticing hire on the open market. There’s been some concern over Belichick wanting full control over a new team and roster if he and the Patriots decided to part ways. The prospects of hiring Belichick strictly as a coach could create more demand for him in the coming days.

So Rodgers wants to leave the Jets?

So Rodgers wants to leave the Jets?

Garrett Wilson called it "the most miserable year of my life" at his exit interview apparently. 😅

Let it all mate, he's done well to hold it in all season.

NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero reports the Panthers have requested an interview with Bengals OC Brian Callahan for their head coaching vacancy.
Callahan did some of his finest work in the back half of this season. He’s spent the last five seasons with the Bengals and led them to back-to-back top-10 scoring seasons in 2021 and 2022. After losing Joe Burrow for the season in Week 11’s contest against the Ravens, Callahan and the Bengals averaged 23.4 points per game with first-time starter Jake Browning and remained in the playoff race up until a Week 17 loss to the Chiefs. Callahan was the subject of head coaching searches last offseason and could once again be eyeing greener pastures should the right opportunity arise.

Dont mind Callahan, but as ill say a lot this offseason, why on earth would you want to coach here if youre a relatively big name coordinator? Come do an interview though, get yourself some sweet leverage for elsewhere.
