Yeah that's no good for a bloke near 30. Those can kill a whole seasonThe never endingstorycalf strain.
Agree, no point cooking his foot again in a rush for one game but ****ing the rest of his/our season.I'd rather not rush Petty for the start of the year anyway
Fritsch, JVR & Trac should be enough to kick a winning score IF we move the ball well*Do we actually have any fit forwards?
trac is a mid, especially without Oliver. And even when forward he's always high up the ground anyway.Fritsch, JVR & Trac should be enough to kick a winning score IF we move the ball well*
*we won't move the ball well.
if we are playing Trac as a full time mid even without Oliver we are going nowhere this year.trac is a mid, especially without Oliver. And even when forward he's always high up the ground anyway.
I respectfully disagree. Why would we put the worst set shot in the afl over a 3 year period in the forward line?if we are playing Trac as a full time mid even without Oliver we are going nowhere this year.
alot of things need to go right for us to have a good year IMO. Trac sorting out his kicking is one of them.I respectfully disagree. Why would we put the worst set shot in the afl over a 3 year period in the forward line?

I've been to about 5 training sessions, I haven't seen Petracca work on his goal kicking more than any other player. They practice it for about 5 minutes a training session and it's clearly not a priority for the footy club. Strangely enough.alot of things need to go right for us to have a good year IMO. Trac sorting out his kicking is one of them.
We need him spending a decent chunk forward because he's one of the only players on the list that can win contests in the forwardline consistently.
He's been vocal about this for the past few years. It's not new information at all.Trac mentioned on the Dyl and friends podcast that he has been working on his kicking and goal kicking. Not sure to what extent. The guy is an elite preparer though. Does a lot of extras most wouldn’t be doing.
Yeah I’m hoping he has been working on it as he seems to be someone who is dedicated to what he is doing and trying to improve. Just look at what happened once the penny dropped. 4 x AA, 2 x B&F, premiership, Norm Smith. He’s a very dedicated individual. This could be one of his biggest challenges. He's been vocal about this for the past few years. It's not new information at all.
Until I start seeing significant improvement, then it'll be one of his biggest flaws in his game.
Him practicing a few set shots here and there won't change anything until he sorts out 2 main things.Yeah I’m hoping he has been working on it as he seems to be someone who is dedicated to what he is doing and trying to improve.
