Yeh I thought it worked really well in the first 2/3 of the season having Hunter spread things out, rather than just relying on Langdon.Melbourne made a point of the
Wingers holding their width. There was an article on it last year and it was quite interesting how much Langdon and Hunter were on tram tracks up and down the wing.
From the looks and sounds of it we’re going to mix things up a bit through the middle. Windsor is suited to that with his mine breaking speed and movement. Whether he can impact sufficiently early on I don’t know. But can see him playing early on. Especially with Hunter possibly missing early on.
If Windsor turns out to be a quality player though, I’d far prefer to use him in the midfield brigade or even off half back.
Wing these days needs a marking target or someone who can run line a Kenyan.. a high quality player should go through the middle I reckon.
