Hi all, would appreciate any feedback. Daicos is hopefully gettablr after the Fin blanket has been applied.

Lack of real elite captain options would scare me

You have 14 Round 0 players, 5 of which are premo types that will have a bye over the next 6 weeks that's all.

I just think it's a lot but it seems to be what most of the cool kids are running with at the moment. So if you are fine with it, that's cool

Ahh gotcha! Thanks for clarifying :thumbsu:

Tbh bye structure is overrated - it's best 18 anyway.

Most people's teams will significantly change by the time the main bye's come mid season.

Thoughts on Draft # 2 - 4.2K left in Bank

Pretty solid.
Personally don't like the Naismith selection. Think he makes way for Nank as soon as he is ready. Rather have the 102k donut there.
Both Reville and Brown unlikely to play any time soon, if at all. Need to find playing rookies for cash generation.
Downgrading Wines would be how I would find the funds to do so, but up to you

It's best 18 but if you have too many round 0 players you will have more rookie scores in that 18 whereas other teams will have more premo scores

Ok...I'm in fine tuning mode!!

Still torn on afew spots.. Dawson v Traca, Miller v Newcombe, Stewart v Sicily...

Any feedback or suggestions will be much welcomed! 🙏

Good team - nothing wrong with it.

In terms of your "torn" decisions - they are just coin flips with both options quality.

If it was me - I'd go Dawson, only because he plays 1 more game than Petracca (meaning an extra 60 or so points in that bye week). Dawson arguably more scope to improve with Adelaide's potential rise and less likely to play forward but on the flip side, Trac has been elite for longer.

For Miller vs Newcombe - again, both good choices. I've gone Miller simply because he has proven he can go 120+ (twice) before (and is only this cheap due to injury). Newcombe's scores jump every year and expect that will happen again but I'm conservative and will always go for the player that has proven he can do it over those that are yet to do so (cos predicting 'breakouts' is a hard business). I also think Gold Coast are likely to be a bit better which usually means that 'quiet' games are not as low scoring.

Stewart vs Sicily is another coin flip. I've gone Stewart for no real reason, other than possible anti-bias (I seem less likely to choose Hawthorn players). If I were to over-analyse, I might suggest it is because Sicily's scores seem a little more volatile (2 sub 65 scores to Stewart's 0) and I prefer the consistent scorer to the feast/famine types but even that is splitting hairs looking at the data (this volatility seems to come when Sicily has to be "extra lockdown" whereas Stewart is always freewheeling). The only other tiny difference is Stewart's ave includes an injury affected 18 so he is slightly under his true average price. Again, absolute hair splitting.

This is what I've got currently, still undecided on a couple things (could do Stewart down to Houston/Sheezel and then one of my 'value' mids up to a 600k+ player) but I'm happy enough with it.

With Heeney/JJ I plan on an aggressive move trading one or both of them after Round 4, the bye should coincide with the return of Parker & Adams, and I can then bring in someone like Flanders whose bye would have already passed, or see if any other #1 forward option has emerged through the first month of the season.

Heeney is like an emotionally abusive ex begging for another final chance.
Sam Flanders got to beat up on a Tigs side still looking to find its rhythm, impossible to.gauge his output level.
L Jackson could be strong with no bye and DPP, but hard to see him being 'value' on the year unless Darcy misses 6+ games.
Heeney into Flanders can work, but it consumes a trade at a slightly awkward time.
All a bit of unnecessary drama tbh.

Been settled on this basic structure for a while, just playing around with which premo's to choose based on how much dough I have remaining. With this iteration I have a whopping $400 :anguished::anguished::anguished:. I'd love another viable option instead of Windsor but I won't be holding my breath. Probably take him in the end

Happy for any feedback
Watch status of Carroll and S Campbell with expected team ins.
Sharp leg.kmock in last state league hitout, reckon he's pretty iffy.
Cadman and Burgess options with likely good JS up forward (Cadman definitely,.Baby John wait and see),.you could cull Sharp,.shift Windsor to MIDs and go Cadman.+ Burgess or Nyuon or ... up forward if needed.
Just be prepared for reshuffles like that if needed 👍

On reflection Scoopsmorrow might have bit a little sharp with the feedback
Possibly over did it a little
Off to run laps and consider moderation in all it's forms (but not forums)

Ok kenties I think this is my final team.

I would have liked Houston up back to have 4 defence premos but I find that imbalances the team elsewhere.

Structure looks pretty solid, not sure on Jackson he looks like a possible trap. Flanders taking up an onfield mid spot is interesting. Other than that looks clean although Rd 3 and 5 byes will be interesting
