Our forwards aren't working hard enough. Just standing there.
Dom is starting to look the part. Looks more confident and aggressive
Anyone see a bit of Peter wright in lemmey?
Lemmys role as a tall forward is to get dangerous when the ball movement stops. Set himself to lead up and get a jump at the ball. Play had stopped, we were looking for a tall target and he was way out of position, see it too much.
At least he's getting involved today. But he's missing too many moments where it's his turn to go.

Cooper Lord looks a real solid pick up too, like what I've seen from him.
Multiple goals two weeks in a row for Lemmey. His confidence is up.
And that goal from Carroll is why I’d like to keep Carroll on the list. Feel he’s not far off.

Fantastic goal from Carroll. Seems to have improved his speed this season a fair bit along with Cripps, paying off in the 2s here.
Hayes really might be the greatest VFL player of all time.
A bit of run generated by our mids and half backs. Wilson running through was good there, the mids followed up.
Loving Akuei’s game. Having a blinder. Are we sure he gets delisted.

Cahill butchering an entry, was a real momentum killer but the forwards responded.
Just one umpiring decision, when DC was running forward on to a loose ball with one arm being hung on to, right in front of the umpire who appeared to, magically, go blind.

Great quarter from the Blues. Thought Lord was really good and Carroll played really well that q and kicked a lovely goal.
Like the look of Lemmey today, might end up with a bag.
Cunners has been pretty good, involved in lot's of chains and has laid a lot of tackles. Almost ready to really hit his straps.
Motts getting involved as well, love to see him kick a few more in the second half.

Finished the quarter with a flurry. Hayes been a really good in.
Wilson run from defence has been good.
Binns consistently good all day. Have liked his ball use and poise.
Akuei has been good, turned a corner.
Lemmy, done some good things, just needs to work on where to go and when it's his turn to give his team an out kick.
Cuningham has built into the game and generated some run. His inside game isnt great but his outside game has been good. Carroll has been solid, hes running well. Lord decent so we are going well in the middle.
I think our defence has been OK. It's our forwards who just don't work and run hard enough. Seeing us bomb it in a lot and everyone is standing there. Backs and mids doing the job.
Motlop in and out of the game. Want to see him doing the defensive things really well, closing on the ball carrier quickly and tackling. Not seeing it at the level yet. But his game is building. Getting to the right spots quite a bit.
Monahan looks lost and lacking fitness, not sure if this will work out.
Durdin not doing a heap.
Young having a nice game.
Moir not seen much after a strong first quarter. Like him behind the ball. Gets involved in chains of play, he's clean.
Marchbank doing things well but not heavily involved.
Let's hope we finish full of run.

Mona looks years away from making it...ironically Dom(our other catB) has been just about our best KPD lately, just when we might have to move him on.

Not sure if Hayes is back for the season, but he would be really handy for the VFL list (setting standards, on field coach, ball winning ability).

Wilson is gonna be a gun if he takes to the speed of the game at AFL level. Has elite traits, once he bulks up he's going to be a star.
Cooper Lord and Jack Carroll both getting plenty of it. Cunners all class, looking good for a senior call up when needed.
Will Hayes turning back the clock, thought he was a bit stiff when we delisted him a few years back.
Lewy Young the regulation heart in mouth stuff whenever he gets the pill in his hands, but has been steady. Big Dom also good, starting to look like a footballer.
Ashton Moir....all I can say is that he could be absolutely anything when he gets it all together. You can see he's building nicely. At some stage he's gonna break a game wide open. Liked Lem's game too.
