We have 1 AFL quality midfielder playing for us in Carroll, that's the primary issue with our VFL team. Let Wilson, Lord, Binns etc develop and it will be a much different story. Dow last year just about won half the VFL games he played off his own boot. We don't have anyone of that calibre in the two's anymore.
Put Hewett or Kennedy in this team and we'd be winning by 50.
Carroll and Cuningham have been dominant in the middle, running it from clearances. Makes the an option should we have injuries in the AFL side. Will make other clubs have a bit of a look at them as well should we be looking to trade.

GWS have a ruck that looks like he's been pulled out of retirement and a makeshift midfield bar 2 players, despite having talented options either end they can and should inject into the middle.
This game should not be this close, we're a bit hopeless tactically.
Also what the hell is Will Hayes doing in our team, he's not played at this level for 18 months? Tell me we're not this desperate to sure up our midfield depth post-season.
