Feels like every week, we’re all saying “we just have to win this one!” … I love how ruthless we’ve become this year!!
I have this feeling (mixed with hope) that our players are just as ruthless as we are.Feels like every week, we’re all saying “we just have to win this one!” … I love how ruthless we’ve become this year!!
I think HTB, not 15 are going to murder us
I'm wondering at what point we start getting an easy draw? Really don't get it, we've supposedly had the toughest draw to this point, just played 5th-8th in the last 6 weeks, played three top 8 sides (at the time) in the first three weeks. Now we've got another 2 top 8 sides in the next few weeks. Like WTF?
But can it help us eventually further our lead on the others (if we keep winning)?
Sorry I feel like I'm a pretty capable person until it comes to making sense of the ladder and then my brain turns to absolute mush
Probably a good thing.I think our loss to Richmond has convinced most fans every game is a danger game.

I think the reason we've had so many good days (genuinely think 7 out of our 11 games have seen us be at or close to our best this year, which is remarkable when you think about it) is because this group just love winning. They've got that fight, belief, and some have the ego, to want to keep tearing teams new you-know-whats.
It gives me hope that they won't get complacent about being top of the ladder because they don't care about being top of the ladder. They just want to win games.
Only then, with that outpouring of studied indifference, would we know we finally had a truly national comp.hahahahaha ... geez, yeah, the chaos that would create in the vic media, and not just the football media, would be highly entertaining ...
they really would struggle to maintain any genuine enthusiasm across the four weeks of finals, and by grand final time you can imagine some of the talking heads just wanting to say "and this week's grand final parade ... ah just fck off"
…Now watch us lose to Norf.i think this is another point about the shift in culture of this team, which is now being driven by heeney, warner and gulden, and the lumberjack might of grundy ...
they're smiling and laughing while going about their business on the field but we can all sense that element of arrogance, and i think that's a hint of their ruthlessness ... they're enjoying proving just how good they are, individually and, specifically heeney, warner and gulden, as the creative engine of this team
as each win is chalked up i get the sense they're challenging the rest of the competition: "bring it on, who's next?"
i've posted in other threads that the whole team is realising how good they are, and can be even better, and they're relishing proving it every week
…Now watch us lose to Norf.
It's ok, they'll forget to count again…Now watch us lose to Norf.
Well, the only team that’s beaten us this year hasn’t won a single other game.oh geez, don't
But they are , look at the North game last yearI think our loss to Richmond has convinced most fans every game is a danger game.
Danger on SEN now saying he's ready to go , but has to go through a couple more sessions , by the sound of him though i think the club will give him an extra week
Same for me as busy with local footy on Saturday arvosLove this timeslot, sunday afternoon is PERFECT for Sydney fans, more of these games please.

Of course we get the one week Danger is playing and every other club gets Bruhn leading their mids!
errol to chad: "you see old man dangerfield might be back?"
chad: "dangerfield? i remember him ... he's still playing?"
I am never confident with Danger coming in if he does
as a swans fan i'm never exactly confident going into any game ... but dangerfield now is not the dangerfield of days gone by, especially coming back after a break
his kicking is not what it was and i just don't think he's as consistently effective across a full game
maybe geelong upsets us, and it would be an upset ... but i'm not really concerned that it'll be dangerfield who beats us
