Still remember that, luckily social media wasn't even a thing back then but we won so no worries!I certainly wasn't a quiet achiever when Luke Ablett passed the ball across goal just for Cousins to intercept in the '05 GF!

I think Jordon has to go to Holmes. extremely influential at half back and is a huge metres gained player.
We seem to have troubles against big contested midfields so Geelong will be another good test with their bigger bodies.
We have to run them to the ground and cannot let them dictate play defensively. They will do their best to clog up the corridor and force us long where they have their strengths in intercepting with Kolo, Henry and Stewart. Our 3 talls have to keep them accountable.
We owe Geelong tbh. I hope we can do
The job next Sunday.
Holmes has been playing inside and has put on a fair bit of beef. Not the best matchup imo. Go to Miers, snuff their ball use and give him a chance to still be an offensive option.Yep, this.
JJ usually goes to an outside runner/ distributor type and I think he goes to Holmes this week.
5 more years Wilbur will go to Stewart IMO
Luke Ablett, Ben Matthews…
I remember thinking Fixter was going to be a star. Was one of my favourite players until he left.ben fixter, gerrard bennett ...
Geelong won 12 HTB free kicks last week, hope the boys are switched on.HTB interpretation...who knows what's going to happen this weekend?
Had a couple of outstanding seasons but my god I remember when we first had a look at him I thought it was a pisstake.Even thought LRT was the cult favourite he was still underrated among the wider fanbase back then imo
Depends which end of the HTB rule we get.
Always a bit of an adjustment period
Any word on Dangerfield?
Just checked. Still a massive flog.Any word on Dangerfield?

If we’re including AA named players as quiet achievers, I’ll add Craig Bolton happily to the list. I think there would be a lot of Swans fans who forget that he actually won an AA selection, so quiet are his achievements.
If we aren’t, I’ll add Marty Mattner.
Thank you, Fitzroy.I’m going further back and nominating Rowan Warfe .

And you could add Brad Seymour. The current Crows coach could go on quiet achiever list
Right in front of me , great guy NogyI certainly wasn't a quiet achiever when Luke Ablett passed the ball across goal just for Cousins to intercept in the '05 GF!
He was a good player, but an even better human being post-football.Hahaha that is the first thing I think about when Luke Ablett's name comes up, which is highly unfair to him, as he was a good player.
And you could add Brad Seymour.
He was , still kicked the ball to Plugger in the 96 PL , had too much guts for his own goodyeah
Wade Chapman
robbed of a great career
Even at 12-3 with a few down weeks would hold us in good shape going to the business end.Feel like the next four weeks are massive .
3-1 or 4-0 would allow sew up top 2 and maybe it's dream land by if we got 14-1 then some conversations can be begin around some things.
But it did make for a more exciting finish right???I certainly wasn't a quiet achiever when Luke Ablett passed the ball across goal just for Cousins to intercept in the '05 GF!
What a night that was!!He was , still kicked the ball to Plugger in the 96 PL , had too much guts for his own good
