SC-wise, he has been a huge disappointment.

115 average prior to this week, can't complain too much. Only problem is that Serong, Rowell and Butters at similar prices have went nuts.

Has been putrid today though.

Not sure I agree there.
He has actually won a fair bit of footy in H2.
H1 he got caught in possession a couple of times and spent some time at halfback and couldn’t get involved.
I know it’s a common perception, but he actually does win a decent amount of contested footy (imo).

Incredible turnaround this.
Butters was in everything, Daicos couldn’t buy a touch, we were getting smashed.
Fast forward an hour and Butters has been unsighted, Rozee subdued, and Daicos is running riot.

I watched him closely live against Brisbane. He’s a good player but he gets a lot of junk possession which doesn’t progress Collingwood but which is good for SC.

His good possessions are A grade but they’re in the minority.
