It's always the question with young ruckman. Problem is if we drsft another one its another 4 years till we find out if hes any good or not, so the motivation is to keep them until there's no doubts left. With TC close to the end l can see Moose getting year by year deals whist another kid is drafted.

At some point we need to have enough confidence in Heath, delist Campbell, and draft another ruck.
Getting pretty close to that point now i think.
If nooby ruck outpaces Moose in development, we trade moose and draft another ruck.

If we decide sometime soon that Moose is de-list material, we are kind of in the crap ruck-wise.

Plus Heath’s a good height at 204-205cm.

I don’t want our next ruck to be 198-200cm.

As Simon noted in The Inbetweeners it’s time to …

Not sure its those guys you want to learn your lessons of life from.
Though Simon is a better role model than Jay.

The Heath talk is a bit unfair, IMO

He’s playing in the position where the strength and weight difference between boys and men has the largest impact on success. Couple that with his poorer aerobic fitness base when drafted, and you’re going to make an already-long development process take even more time to complete.
It also doesn’t help that building size and building aerobic fitness, simultaneously, requires a much finer balance in diet and training than focusing on one over the other.

I could see him getting more time in the ruck during the back end of the VFL season / next year. I don’t see any reason why we wouldn’t persevere with him for at least 1-2 further seasons. It’s not like we get to conjure a first round draft pick in exchange for delisting him - another dart throw rookie prospect (the actual replacement) is just going to reset the process.

Yeah, but i'm thinking we still need another in the pipeline.
Another ruck more or less where Heath was when we got him.
Keeler isn't going to be a full time ruck.

Almost impossible to gauge where Sandy and the Sandy Saints are at against a 3rd rate Richmond team- look to the week before against the BH Hawks to see where players are at.
We’re ****ed

Jett Peckett, the son of former St Kilda star Justin Peckett, will make his debut for the Dolphins after strong form with Bonbeach.

With grounds like Marvel and MCG they play too many senior games at each venue per round, and that isa key reason why they stopped the reserves playing before the seniors.
yeah but with games live streamed now, you can at least watch it prior

What’s the go with Elwood? I think he must be injured or something. Not playing with dandy

Last time anyone spotted him he was in an old police car with a full tank of gas and half a pack of cigarettes. It was dark and he was wearing sunglasses.

Where was he going?
