Speaking on his behalf, but Carnthedockers has been steadfast on it being 2026 for Chad

Yes, if trading Warner meant you could better balance your list, in Sydney's case getting a power forward, then you would.
Err no, I mean like a JUH.Really?
Any draft pick can be a bust.
You have an A-grade player that you're trading for an 18 year old kid who will either take 3+ years to develop into a player or bust completely.
Unless you're a rebuilding club like RFC I doubt you'd do this.
Swans have a nasty ability to stay up due to their rort of an academy and just made the GF, so if Warner is leaving they'd probably want to trade for an established KPF or at least move those picks on for one you'd think.
Frederick or SturtIf you want Chad and Bolton, pick a decent player to go out with the picks. Only way to get Chad this year.
I'd let Freddy/Switta go. Cooper Simpson can become either of those players. Freddy was disappointing this yearIf you want Chad and Bolton, pick a decent player to go out with the picks. Only way to get Chad this year.
You could be right, fave player was Joel Selwood growing up.Correct me if I'm wrong but I don't believe Warner was a Weagles supporter.
Pretty sure his family were all mad cats fans.
Garlick is being a bit too forward in stating his desire to get these players there I reckon.
It’s just leads to overpaying.
Its amazing how thrifty clubs become in negotiating when they have minimal capital.
Then when you have the opposite I.e. us this year and the suns every year - you just seem to pay more and get less value.

This is fair enough from a Dockers supporter POV. From Pickett's POV, I understand keeping the trade request internal. 1) Freo can't really commit to getting it done, so why would you piss off the fanbase you have to play in front of, and all of your teammates and club personnel you have to work with at your job? 2) Melbourne really might have told him that the trade is 100% not happening; the club has had enough recent PR disasters, and they're not willing to give up on a flag next year before the inevitable post Gawn + May rebuild. It's probably a combo of factors. In any case, what does a public trade request get you except Melbourne's cutthroat back-channelling of nasty stories about your character, and playing with guys who don't like you, in front of a crowd that doesn't like you.I tend to view it that Kozzie won't force his way out or put enough pressure on Melbourne to at least officially ask for a trade. The view has been that we are basically the Port replacement club for this season and he's been out/in for the last 3 off seasons. Why would Melbourne cave when the pressure from Kozzie to get out is as low as Fremantle v Port.
This year? It’s absolutely happening. It’s just about which club he chooses. My money is on us, with the sharp and dogga connection.
If you want Chad and Bolton, pick a decent player to go out with the picks. Only way to get Chad this year.
Yep a Cats fan growing upCorrect me if I'm wrong but I don't believe Warner was a Weagles supporter.

Not sure they are decent enough. Switta at a minimum and realistically I reckon it needs someone better even. Sydney would want the worldFrederick or Sturt
CTD sprinkling some juicy details and bailing for a week is amazing. He is laughing he has us by the balls
If Sydney or anyone really rates Raz or Johnson at late first or early 2nd round value (way more likely Johnson), it just has to be 1 of them. No real point keeping them around if you're gonna get Chad.If you want Chad and Bolton, pick a decent player to go out with the picks. Only way to get Chad this year.
Can confirm Warner was no Eagles fan and did follow Fremantle but in saying that he was certainly not a die hard. Preferred playing sport than watchingCorrect me if I'm wrong but I don't believe Warner was a Weagles supporter.

Fixed for you
Or he knows nothing.
Can’t be saying that when you look at our record with/without him this yearFixed for you
Bolton is a match winner under contract. After F/S and Academy picks it probably ends up picks 12 and 20. That's fair. We got similar for Schultz.
The situation with Kozzie is no doubt the same it has always been: Kozzie wants a trade to Freo, Melbourne won't play ball. Even the most optimistic reports/rumours have firmly positioned Melbourne as the barrier to a trade. After the Bolton trade is done, and keeping our options open for Warner, we don't have the godfather deal that would make them profoundly reevaluate.
