It’s ironic in that they’ve basically let the likes of Ralph (fan boi) and co run their narrative on this to get the fans excited and on side ,
problem is they’ve basically let it go unabated and now 90% of their nuffie supporters think they’re getting everything for these players, so now self preservation kicks in for RFC management and they’ve got to appear unrelenting for fear of fan backlash they get for “conceding” (lol )on the bolten /rioli deals .
But the reality is it will be nothing to what they’d get if both ended up back at punt rd , RFC near guaranteed to ending up with the spoon again and all of sudden those players simply asking for trade again in 12 mths time but at genuinely half the price.

I legit think 11 & 30 is still in the scope of a fair deal for Bolton, if at the edges of it, 10/11 & 18 is more than nice and juicy, while 10 & 11 is almost extortion. Just get the deal done and put efforts into more complex deals.

It's almost 6pm over in Victoria. We've got through three straight days without a trade I'm pretty sure.
Any trade happening would be nice. I've said people are a bit impatient but it's not normally this uneventful.

Yeah, I'm 99% sure it's never THIS bad. Like, normally pick swaps happen and moves are made, this year is nothing but absolute crickets. Maybe it's the push they need to make it 5 days and save the sanity of trade radio hosts

Yeah but..we really need Bolton. He makes that fwd line pretty formidable.
No way it will be 11 and 30, Richmond would never take that and nor should they.
I expect wallsy and co will be pretty happy if it’s 10(or 11) and 18.
Worth remembering that when we did the Collingwood trade we probably assumed something like 15 (now 16 with battle compo) - so that and 18 is pretty cheap.
