More I look at the deal, the more I’m fine with it.
Hopefully Tigers are paying cap but
Better be.

We paid the equivalent of pick 2 in points people, that is way overs. It's not a coincide we paid overs for Jackson.
How good are the nga players next year? Like first round good or second to third round?
Well we can be in for whoever we want. We got a 4 pick upgrade from 18.Who says we want Bo Allen?
Why can people not be unhappy with the trade?
That doesn't make it better. We were all ridiculing WC for giving up pick 3 and we did the same.Pick 4 according to draft guru

It’s something that I have never grasped. I get trade hypotheticals but actual haggling with oppo nuffies? It’s taking being irrelevant to whole new places. So im only new here but seeing Tigers fans coming in here trying to haggle like we are all list managers and trying to convince us to agree to their pro-Richmond views of how the trade should look is fckn bizarre to me
What is the rationale? Do they think if they can convince us Freo fans to see things their way and agree on a certain set of terms being fair that itll somehow affect the real trade?
"If we can get Freo fans to agree then our list manager will have the blueprint to convince Walls as well! Quick - to the Freo board!"
Do they think the list managers lurk here looking for intel or ideas?
"Cave and give us all your picks or we will keep Bolton!" Yeah, you do that in your imaginary list managers role. Great job buddy
Ok. Well now I’m just trading out 14 to Swans if they still want to offer 19 and 22. Stuff it.
There was just a smidge of players at 11 possibly available.
With the future 3rd (pick37), equivalent to pick 4.We paid the equivalent of pick 2 in points people, that is way overs. It's not a coincide we paid overs for Jackson.
They won 3 flags i reckon i could cop a 5+ year full rebuild off a 3-premiership dynasty.I think it’s remarkable that Tigers can lose: Baker, Rioli, Graham, Bolton and the narrative is about how well they’re going to be able to rebuild with the picks they have.
Class and leadership walking out. Doesn’t seem to be the story.
Just interesting.
But we're trying to win a flag next year? Also it's pretty silly to think that drafting two players at 10 and 18 is remotely the same as drafting a Sheezel or Reid in the top 3. It's a good trade and there's no doubt there is salary at play behind the scenes. Walls isn't a fool. That doesn't make it better. We were all ridiculing WC for giving up pick 3 and we did the same.
No it’s not it’s shit ,management again trying to cover their arses for lack of progressGood trade, good business. Get the fella in who addresses a glaring list need, maintain a first round pick in an historically deep and even draft and get on with being a serious footy club.
Dunno why people are pissed off this much.
It's a 3 pick downgrade or a 4 pick upgrade from 18? We are still in for Bo Allen now. And got Shai.
Stop having a melt down.
Oh well give them everything they ask then shall we?But we're trying to win a flag next year? no we're not (in for Allan) necessarily, Eagles pick before us and they too will target WA talentDunno why people are pissed off this much.
It's a 3 pick downgrade or a 4 pick upgrade from 18 (which is more likely thr case as Tiges always wanted 10 and 11) We are still in for Bo Allen or whoever the club wants. And got Shai.

It’s still pick 10 & 18
We’ve just downgraded 11 to 14.

Draft nights also have alot of players who are taken early which throws some players deeper into the first round. It's a 50/50 with Berry. Hopefully we asked Richmond to leave him as we want him.It depends on the draft order, and who gets picked where. Who knows how the draft order will end up, and who we are chasing.
I think the 3 pick down grade costs us any chance of Berry (you need to remember that Lombard, Kako and Ashcroft are all father son or NGA, so our pick will drop a bit )
