3 x National Draftees (would like more)
3 x NGA's & FS
Macrae
Soldo
Cat B rookie (Irishman)

As he mentions that leaves 1 main list spot for a CHB. Who will it be Tomlinson or Serong or both?

I haven’t suggested anything. I’m working on the current list vacancies.

Hotton would remain if we don’t get another useable pick or player to come across

And then trade out Picks 7 & 8 for multiple 3rd and 4th rounders coz he stuffs up the early picks.

So far we have 5 with Max Hall in and Campbell, Bonner, Alison, Van Es, Ross and Battle out.

Then we still have Membrey, Paton, Hayes and Hotton uncontacted.

So are we assuming all 4 of those uncontacted players are gone?

If we lost Crouch and Membrey i would hope that we'd keep Hotton and Hayes. I'd probably be comfortable with losing Paton.

That would leave 8 spots to fill with 3 already accounted for with Peckett, Cole and Hofmann (assuming Linder isn't going to be considered?)

Honestly it sounds like the AFL have assured us of band one compo. If Battle left for less cash, then it’s never been about our financial offer and it’s always been about living out a boyhood dream.

Or we ****ed the negotiations by dangling him early in the year.

Won't that free "????" space have to be used by the obligatory rookie from the Zebras? Which means Hotton must go, no?

With Port losing so dramatically on the weekend their list needs a refresh bigtime. They need to hit the high end of the draft.
Houston leaving must have a top 10 pick attached to it, plus more which Blues do not have.
Hence the Cera and Kennedy rumours.

Would we consider 7 for Cera and Blues FFDP? Or 7 and 24 for Cera and pick 13?
Houston for 7 and Blues FFRD pick off to Port.

Just cannot see where else Blues can go....unless Richmond get 6 for Rioli and do similar to the above scenario.

North no WCE and Freo Cera left the West so unlikely....Ade a move interstate unlikely leaves Melb do they need a mid when they lack quality forwards....unlikely leaves only us at the table to facilitate a desperate Carlton and Port. Can we drive a winning deal?
