That probably works, has it been confirmed there will be 5 on the bench? With 5 on the bench, no reason why all of Cripps, Kennedy, Hewett, Cerra, Walsh can't play in the same side and I suspect they will
I would hope Hewett and Kennedy playing isn’t at the expense of Elijah hollands and Cottrell. If we had to pick 3 out of those 4 I’d leave out Kennedy and play Hewett Cotts and Elijah
I’d like to just run over sides and Cripps Hewett Walsh Cerra provide enough grunt as well as doc
Club press release said he injured it this morning… you suggesting injured it again, or club releasing ‘late’ news? From what I heard, it's old news, did it late last year in the preseason
Weitering was pictured training on WednesdayFrom what I heard, it's old news, did it late last year in the preseason
No current season stats available

We didn't finish 3rd we finished 5th. Only two clubs get any bragging rights after a Grand Final, and even one of those has to grin and bear it until the next season. The AFL has it wrong in adjusting the entire top eight for the sake of the draft (rather than just the final two), IMO.Amazing that we finished 3rd considering how poorly we do things as a club while 17 other clubs are at the cutting edge

Yeah.... I guess knowing someone else's weight is probably in the "none of your business" category and fair enough, anyway you don't need scales to see if a player is too heavy or too light in that department. Surely though when recruiting in the national draft you should have access to it as putting on or losing weight takes time and the AFL is sport/fitness based business with lots of $$$ involved...I don't even know their weight anymore
What sort of player do you think he's going to become? Is there anyone in the league who is similar? I do like the mix of traits he has. Big bodied mid with a good tank and ability to go forward and have an impact. Right type of player for us to recruit.I think some people are going to be amazed by Elijah. He is a genuine A grade talent and much bigger than I thought and a great engine.
Has star midfielder written all over him
I can see their point, until mid June last year, the 23 years prior to that warranted this kind of view. It's a long time to go without any positive results coming from the club you follow. 23 years of constant mistakes and very poor on field and off field performances. More if you count the off field stuff and how we were managing our salary cap and list management in the 90's. We appear to be a good club now but it's been a very long time. A very very long time since Carlton has been a club which has been successful on the field, off the field and operated properly within the boundaries of the rules. Last season was the first step forward in over 20 years. Club looks good as a whole. Starting to get back to being what it was a very long time ago where you could be proud to follow it or be connected to it in some way. Going to take a long time or a premiership before people begin to change their views on things at the club after so many years of poor on and off field performance.Well, made it to a prelim so decent effort considering some people have a negative view of all things club
classic response from those who struggle to understand change.........Yeah.... Mentally strong people do not care at all what other people think or say about them, to me thats not political correctness its mental weakness enabling....
Does this mean we will soon be banishing the draft combine too?

If he elevates to full potential, the best comparison is Petracca… I kid you not, but it is a bit early to bank on it.What sort of player do you think he's going to become? Does it really matter? We finished 5th after the home and away games but the season continues minus the clubs outside of the final 8. As a result of the finals we were the higher placed prelim final loser so we finished 3rd. Check our initial draft position for confirmation.
More importantly, where do you s'pose is an acceptable finish this season.I think our ultimate position on the ladder is sort of relevant. Everything else gets compared. S'pose it's one way to judge improvement.
Grand Final. It's Time.More importantly, where do you s'pose is an acceptable finish this season.
Even finishing 5th last year would have been a great result, compared to sitting in the bottom 4 after round 15.
