Bet you guys are champing at the bit to see Lachie Schultz in action for ya. He is going to blow your minds.
I’m looking forward to him playing for us, but I think you’re probably hyping him up too much. He’s coming in to a premiership forward line, he won’t be playing with mugs.

Agreed. He'll be great for us. But he'll be at the same tier as Elliott, which is bloody handy given Elliott is much closer to the end than the start.

Bloody blanket of grey clouds on yet another summer's day in Melbourne! I longed for a hot sunny summer all year. :(
Maybe next time.
Something to do with elnino or elnano but it's probably just elnormal. We don't seem to be getting the predicted heat wave here in Melbourne

Can't get an accurate weather forecast for a week out, but a climate model for the next 50 years is absolutely 'solid' when justifying billions of doallrs of policy on!? Make it make sense....

Wasn't their an extra layer to Moneyball. Which was them losing in the finals. And the feedback being that performance varies between standard home and away season games VS finals under high pressure, the psycology to perform under high media attention. And the big names can maintain their their output and xfactor. And the good value blue collar players can go missing under the intensity.
I'd be chosing Bobby Hill over Leon Davis.
Leon Davis is the better player in the home and away season but often went missing in finals. Bobby Hill probably played 2 of his best 3 games of his season in finals.
You can maybe apply it also to a Nobel vs Marcos situation. To a less varied degree. Marcov being less prone to drop off in finals.
The trade off of qualifying for finals vs performing in finals.

Agreed. That is the only slight on Leon - his performance in finals was sub-par by his standards.

It's been the kind of hideous summer that drives you to the internet to check out airfares to tropical places in June - August.

The weather doesn’t bother me- given I’m prone to sunburn

At 70, the damage done to my skin while young has surfaced, necessitating a more studied approach to being outdoors, the task made a little easier by a semi-gloomy Melbourne summer. And anything cut out of your face or head attracts no Medicare rebate. Nothing. What is to the victim the removal of potential impending death is to Medicare a cosmetic procedure.

I'm starting to really doubt Jane Bunn but having said that, I have never seen her eyes

Summer of severe heat predicted as Bureau of Meteorology declares El Niño. It seems to be a fizzer so far.
