USA 2024 US Presidential Election: Trump vs Harris (pt II)

Can one of you Trump haters explain why Democrat run states don’t want voter ID? Wouldn’t have anything to do with letting 20 million illegals cross the border and then fill out ballots would it?

Because it's an unnecessary requirement for a non existent problem.

Don't you get it though? It's people like you who are trying to vote in a regime that will strip away the reproductive rights of females and make life horrible for a whole lot of people based on the colour of their skin.

It's not just politics, this shit affects peoples lives.
Politics - the activities associated with making decisions in a group, in particular the governance of a country.

At least he didn’t claim he was discussing the merits of policies.

It’s also disingenuous to be so absolute by saying they don’t want it at all.

I’m sure if they were given a voter ID proposal that accounted for the potential issues then they’d consider it. It’d have to outline what ID’s would be acceptable. Funding would need to be provided to put money towards educating the citizens how to get an ID. Money put towards establishing new offices in non-city areas that could provide said ID’s. And probably a bunch of other things I can’t think of right now.

In other words, if the republicans came to the democrats and said “Here’s how we think we can require voter ID and here’s all the ways we are going to make it possible for every citizen to be able to get an ID”, I think they’d be more open to it.

Right now all they say is “Enact voter ID laws and the citizens can figure the rest out”

It’s so hard to see why that’s not compelling 🙄

Show us a proven instance where a glitch has favoured Democrats.
90% of things including glitches on mainstream information channels favor Democrats and actively takes positions against Republicans.

Bezos' Washington Post article is spot on in the sense this style of reporting has reduced the credibility of these publications to the point social media like X has well and truly taken over in engagement metrics for how people get their news

I suppose the democrat cope is that "but but Trump is all bad, and Kamala is only good, maybe if you operated based on facts you'd see this!"

Diddums

nowhere does it say the democrats were favored by this glitch, and this is the reason why both parties have election overseers. Because mistakes happen, get discovered, and corrected.

Weird how you are so outraged over the system working.

It has been debunked, but the poor GOP are unable to have basic understanding of the system in play. ReidBetweenTheLines has refused to acknowledge the post or at least give a rebuttal.

Move on.

Oh my bad, they are the source.

"Trust me bro"
Fox (and perhaps the NY Post) is the 10%.

Now do the remaining 90% (NBC,CNN, The Guardian, Bloomberg, Time, MSNBC, New York Times, ABC news, etc)

I'll wait

Nice meme. 85% Trump in the first sentence = 31% Trump in the third sentence.

Numbers aren't really your thing, are they?

We're not talking about media, we're talking about vote counting.

In any case, engagement doesn't equate to credibility.

It takes all of 2 seconds to find out your source there is a conservative think tank funded by hedge fund, corporate and fossil fuel types with a vested interest.

Do better.

Say stupid, offensive shit, get negative coverage.

Seems pretty straightforward.

negative coverage =/= reporting on controversies. These are two different metrics!

Looks like neither reading comprehension or numbers is your thing

Trump thrives on negative coverage, it feeds his victimisation complex and it lets his supporters denounce it all as a some sort of media conspiracy.

Citing Fox News as a credible source shows how out of touch with reality you are.
