That Al Smith dinner speech was hilarious, real 2016 energy about it. Kamala's the first candidate in 40 years to not attend, but I'm not hating here, she made the right decision politically to not turn up and be humiliated.

My favourite joke was when "White Dude For Harris" came up and Trump said "I'm not worried about them, because their wives and their wives' lovers are all voting for me".

“Why is it that you think many are choosing trump? Just interested to know.
Is it economics? Is it wokism (and if so which parts in particular)? Is it foreign policy? Is it support for religion? Something else?”

I replied to that citing some reasons.

These aren’t my personal opinions but these are the issues raised over and over.

Trump for example has said he’d stop Trans in female sports. That’s a popular opinion for many Americans

Bill Mahers viral clip dissing land acknowledgments… again is a view many Americans agree with.



You can rebut these and that’s great but this is the sort of stuff winning huge numbers of American votes.

I’ve got some reading to do it seems.

It’s the Christianity / religious zealots taking over courts for me that I can’t get my head around.
How it’s possible for a president to come in and do that / how others would even get replaced.

You only have to look at SCOTUS, what Trump did in one term.
But yes would be interesting to see how it plays out.

Mindless voters yes. Transphobia, Homophobia, Racism all appeal to the small minded. Trump understands this.
More concerned about someone’s sexuality than how well or poorly they treat people. Trans and gays and those who loom different are easy targets for bullies.
