If she wins these 3, that means polling was reasonably on track and then I think she gets Nevada too, which has undercounted Democrats in recent cycles.

I'm actually more interested in what becomes of the Republican party if it does lose, who do they turn to next? Will MAGA people just not vote if he or someone who he selects isn't the nominated official. Will the party split up? I'm not sure they are ready for fall out if he does lose in fact I don't think anybody is.
Another January 6th type thing is undoubtedly coming, these people didn't believe he lost last time. There will be retaliation I'm just not sure in which form.

Yeah this is the big question.
Feel like MAGA has been held together by Trump and his personality, and there doesn't seem to be an obvious candidate capable of keeping MAGA and enough moderates in the camp to make them competitive moving forward.
WIll the MAGA nuts still come out and vote if they put up a "moderate" republican (a De Santis/JD Vance type/Haley). None of those seem capable of inspiring enough people. Haley maybe could, but she wont get enough because she's not white.
I think they will still court the MAGA voters during the primaries where extreme views often do better. So I'd bet that a MAGA shaded candidate will be their candidate again. How far will Haley go to curry their favor? I think quite far as she has shown a remarkable ability to be two-faced.

Yes he did, think you have it mixed around. Biden was firm favourite and just won by 43k in 3 swing states razor thing margins in context of an American election.
Unfortunately, the electoral college is DEI for Republicans (using their definition).
So you may not get the candidate based on merit as per their constituents wishes.

Trumpism is fascism, it surely has to die. Hopefully there are enough decent republicans to pick up the pieces. Ther are sure a lot of them who have fully denounced him. It will probably take decades to erase the damage he has caused.
