He used this rhetoric as red meat for his supporters to get riled up and take it further.

As per a previous post of mine, I said he used the word dumb too often and it was ridiculous. The X link was posted in a way to make it look like he just wanted Cheney shot at.
It was a video that was purposely cropped.
