USA 2024 US Presidential Election: Trump vs Harris (pt II)

But we'll know the winner by the end of the week? I can switch the BS off, don't care who starts lawsuits. The result won't be overturned so let them waste their money

Check the new tomorrow evening and you might have a result, probably by the end of the week you’ll be pretty certain unless it’s really tight and subject to court determinations (which is possible).

Lol

I hope you have a professional to speak to if things don't go your way. I think you're going to REALLY struggle
Not at all.
Of course I will feel very sad for the immigrants, women, minorities, Ukraine. It’s Trump’s mental health you should be really concerned about.

It's the perspective held by the terminally online. They need to go outside for a walk. Our lives will literally not change one bit as a result of this election.

SA very narrowly avoided passing new abortion laws driven by a wannabe MAGA politician.

What happens in the US very much has flow-on effects for Australia.

What do you think will change here? I didn’t notice much last time, maybe covid response.
Ukraine, Australia is doing sfa.
Israel, well everyone is soft as a curry poo on that. Which is sad for me.
Aukus, and, that’s not a clear with either party.
Geopolitical security, China? Trump was pretty direct on China last time. I wouldn’t think Xi is hoping Trump is getting in.
Global economy, we aren’t that reliant on the US, and from observations of previous form there isn’t much either way on that.
Racists, misogynists, bigots - we have enough of them already.
Last time what happened in Australia?
This time is not last time.

Trump supporters on here know they can’t make the case for his policies, they know he’s a fundamentally dishonest character, so all they have to fall back on is barracking and cheerleading.

The first American election I bothered paying any attention to was 2008, and from my uninformed Aussie perspective it looked like Obama pretty much had it in the bag. I watched the 2012 election day live and every one since, so this'll be my fourth US election I've followed closely.

There is a certain beauty to the madness. The American system is crazy, the build-up is long, it chooses the most powerful person in the world, and best of all we don't need to live in America. It's like watching an interesting neutral grand final.

The world is going to end, just like it did in 2016…

No surprises but Joe Rogan has officially endorsed Trump

Those libertarian morons who worship him can no longer use the "but he doesn't even like Trump!" defense anymore.

Rogan is MAGA.
In other news, the Pope endorses Catholicism. These Manosphere types love macho bully rapists like Trump.

If Donald loses, it's going to be a whinge fest and there is likely to be at least some violence. God knows what the **** the election deniers will try this time, some of whom are in state office.

If he wins, he'll try to remake the gigantic US public service in his image, and he'll have the friendly Supreme Court he appointed and near-immunity on his side.

Bring out the popcorn.

Got it. n=1 👍
There is enough non-partisan analysis out there concluding that by and large, Biden’s administration has been quite a good one that can easily be found.

That of course won’t convince most Trump supporters. Because they are apparently more swayed by random anecdotes about the size of golfer’s penises and Kamala Harris has been strangely silent on that.

More and more 'casual observers' are coming into this thread now, and the level of political intelligence has dropped significantly hahaha
I can't understand those type of posters. Will hang around if their 'man' wins or disappear if they lose.

Sorry I won't be around tomorrow to read the threads and not the same reading next day with a fast moving topic.
