USA 2024 US Presidential Election: Trump vs Harris (pt II)

The question remains, it is what you posted as a reply and I am genuinely interested in who the non partisan media are.

You've missed the point. Which is becoming a theme.

I was doing exactly what you're doing to me.
I was making the point that these "non-partisan" opinions are in fact, quite the opposite.

I'm not pretending to be non-partisan, nor give some false impression that my brain is not tainted with (shock!) conservative media

Trump’s policies on queer and trans rights are a win for everyone. He will protect women’s sports from being invaded by men and will stop gender affirming care for minors.

Immigrants who contribute to the country won’t be affected.

You should speak less about things you know nothing about

Have you any idea how much the undocumented immigrant community contributes to the us economy. If you take Vance at his word he would crash the economy with the mass deportations he wants.

Idiocy in plain colour

It may not have a huge effect, but anyone thinking the occupant of the White House has no influence on Australian life has rocks in their head.

The occupant of the Oval Office will be the one who decides whether Australia enters a war to defend Taiwan. They will also have a huge influence on whether China invades Taiwan at all.
Extremely unlikely China would invade Taiwan, unless Xi is so isolated from everyone to the point where he doesn't understand what the repercussions would be.

The words Trump and policies shouldn't go together in one sentence. He has no clue wtf he is doing day to day let alone running a country.

Non-partisan = whatever serves my interests
No. Read some reliable news sites where the reporting is characterised by sober analysis rather than hysterical tub thumping.

Not that hard to suss out who's got an agenda and who's only interested in uncovering the facts of the matter.

Loves his Ritalin though so many times he did a press conference and a couple rocks would drop out of his nose

And this is who people want as president

More and more 'casual observers' are coming into this thread now, and the level of political intelligence has dropped significantly hahaha

The ignore function is getting a workout.

It’s the same patterns of people:

A) the both sides bad I don’t care what happens. Then go onto defend trump or mitigate the danger, and only ever criticise dems.

B) the obvious trolls, who are fewer at the moment as most people know the way to get someone to engage with you is to pretend you’re some sort of centrist.

As soon as I see someone parroting the same brain dead arguments (it won’t matter for Australia, no new wars under Trump, something about a squirrel etc) onto ignore they go.

If someone comes up with something original and coherent in favour of trump or both sides are bad (ilovethepies socialist revolution rants are at least a fathomable perspective) then I will engage.

He’ll **** nato but he takes so much money from Ghina I doubt all his bluster about the indo pacific means anything unless he gets more money from them personally

He will **** over anyone to get more money for himself

Of course he will. He also has the additional motive of revenge this time, because he's such a petty, glass-jawed narcissist.

And this time he will also have the means to circumvent much of the regulatory regime.

If that's what you had in mind then you failed.

"There is enough non-partisan analysis out there concluding that by and large, Biden’s administration has been quite a poor one that can easily be found.

That of course won’t convince most Harris supporters. Because they are apparently more swayed by random anecdotes about growing up in the middle class."

At least I know I'm being ironic.
See my reply above.

You clearly have an agenda.

I am no fan of Harris, so I don't, other than seeing someone defeated who has refused to abide by the rules of democratic selection.

Why don't you? Why are you gunning for a declared cheat?

Well slavery was pretty good for the economy too.
Sometimes you gotta move on.

There is enough non-partisan analysis out there concluding that by and large, Biden’s administration has been quite a good one that can easily be found.

That of course won’t convince most Trump supporters. Because they are apparently more swayed by random anecdotes about the size of golfer’s penises and Kamala Harris has been strangely silent on that.

Kamala really has remained conspicuously silent on Arnold Palmers schlong.

I just come here for the melts from these Australians who think the outcome tomorrow has some major effect on their lives and their constant claims Trump would start WWIII.

If you make the same claims 100 times, you will still be wrong 100 times.
Not only has no one claimed that, but you must be joking if you really think that US politics have no effect on Australia and/or the rest of the world.

Imagine if an Australian politician or Harris for that matter started rambling on about Palmer's schlong....it's ok for Trumpy though because he's special.

Oh he’s just joking like when he wants kill his political rivals, the media and the immigrants
