I only watched a few bits, but:

- he repeated his claims of fraud, stolen election etc

- said he handed Biden a great economy

- said Biden caused inflation, a global issue

- said the military hated Biden, loved him, when at least at the last election, Biden led polling among service members

- tried to paint Democrats and Biden as supporting infanticide

Mate.... my Standards isnt that high. Surely there is someone in a Population of 300 odd million, there is at least one person aged between 56-64 that is good enough to last 2 terms or even bloody one 4 year term.


Again.... This time next year we will have the Australian federal election.

Anthony Albanese is only 61 or 62 years old now. Despite his age, He is like a Spring chicken wise compared to these 2 blokes in Biden and Trump.

Peter Dutton is born in November 18th , 1970. He is only 53 or 54 years old. Again, Trump and Biden are pushing 80 year old and Duttons age gap between those 2 is like a gernerational gap.

There is, but no one wants to go up against trump. You will have your reputation tarnished whether or not you deserve it if you go against trump.

ICBF to research but those numbers for NATO from Trump didn't sound right, billions and tens of billions or whatever he was yapping about. And his simplified explanation of who was paying for what IIRC was also wrong.

I think I heard him state he didn't say 'good people on both sides' after the tiki torch nazi parade.

I didn't last too long as it is a working day. Biden was for sure not performing well. The transcript will look much better than the video. He looked like a kid trying to remember the speech he memorized, and everything was slowed down way too far. Terrible look and Fox etal are going to gleefully play it up over and over; without providing any fact checking about any of the debate.

I've thought for a while now that the convention will be the critical juncture. They stay with Biden/Harris or use it make a change and get momentum. God I hope they allow one of the young guns to make a play and win a floor vote or something. Harris, I don't think has the x factor to overcome the GOP/Fox/MAGA machine. If the DNC try to stage manage something stupid then it is truly all over. The repercussions of another Trump presidency will at minimum be chaotic. Worst case will be horrendous even for the nuffies here, far from US shores.

The Dems will need a major positive after this.
