To be fair, vast majority of Trump fans in this thread do a horrendous job of making any rational argument for their guy. Its invariably just hack partisan rubbish that wouldn't be out of place in those videos of room temperature IQ MAGA people being interviewed at rallies.

That's because it is not the place for rational argument. The conditions for rigorous yet civilised debate are non-existent.

It is, simply put, nothing more than a socialist echo chamber. One where it's okay, for example, to hurl personal insults at people who don't embrace the echo chamber narrative, with zero consequences, as well as the implementation of other obvious and bizarre double-standards.

I accepted this some time ago, and adapted accordingly.

In short - if you are seeking rational debate in an impartial environment, then you are in the wrong place.

I would say white lower income USA males who have seen their country change (read increased diversity) and if feels unfamiliar and scary. Or they feel powerless and want to lash out by having trump in power who will hurt other groups that aren’t them
