Kinda sounds like the guy we'd pick even with a slightly higher draft pick.
If we got Berry with our first pick I am pretty sure we wouldn't pick another small forward in Dolan with our second pick.
Especially now we have Bolton as well.

Many draft experts seem to have Oliver going late first round. We will need to upgrade our second pick it seems but to jump from 32 up 5-7 places might be a bridge too far.
Carr is also a medium forward.
I know some on here think we really need small/medium forwards but investing so much in that only creates holes elsewhere later on.
Think we go with a player to improve our transition to the forward line with at least one of the picks tbh. Whether that's a half back or mid I don't really know - think ideally it'd be someone that starts as a HBF and can move into the midfield later on if they're much good and needed there. There's plenty of mids now but in 2-3 years I don't reckon there is and at the draft you should be looking a few years ahead.

I think he’s a better/tougher version of Cerra. So fits the sort of player we need.

In all fairness, you couldn’t get a weaker version of Cerra.
I don’t think we will be selecting both of Berry and hannaford, especially with Carr a medium forward also on the way in too apparently.Thinking hannaford not dolan for our second pick if he is still there
We will take one mid or half back flanker surely.
I still think our small forwards aren’t quite up to it apart from Bolton so wouldn’t at all be opposed to berry and hannaford but it won’t happen.
Fair chance at least one of them will be a hit.

I think we'll get a look at a player like Hotten, Lindsay and Berry with our first, and I don't discount Allen being there (I think he is being rated as a midfielder, but for now that feels a bit too similar to what happened with Logue). Those first three will sharpen us up nicely.
Davis, Hynes and Clarke would get get me excited at our second, and a fair chance they could become midfielders.
I struggle to see a likely outcome our recruiters can come up with that I won't be happy with. Options aplenty.

Oops missed the ‘likely’. Anyway anything within what the scope of what I can realistically see our recruiting doing I’m reasonably happy with. I’m actually reasonably confident this group can give it a real crack as it is but there’s still room to add depth and upgrade quite a few fringe players within the squad. Looking at likely list turnover in the next 1-2 years I’m happy enough with recruiting most types of players tbh.
Think you might have your blue and white glasses on with Urqhart. Good size inside mid but with a very average kick, and I think I'm being kind.

It's a strange kicking style but his kicking isn't that bad.
From memory he does one a week out roughly, and then an update morning of the draft or the night before.
