Trades 2025 Fantasy Round 3 Trades

Need to see team sheets before I plan my trades.

Worried for Reid, Trainor (didn't train today?), Leake, Stone, Campo to name just a few.

Tossing up between NWM and Sinclair to bring in defence this week. Is there a preference for either one? I have NWM at this stage but am worried about his lack of tackling.

Splitting hair really as they're likely within a few points of each other. Have thought it about because I likely one up with one of them.

I think Sinclair is still alpha dog if he's playing half back with a slightly more complete game. From round 16 onwards last season when Sinclair played the role he is playing now off half back he averaged 108.

There is the slight risk he is thrown into CBA's like the first half of last season and he is more of a 95-100 guy not 100+ guy. Can only see it happening if there's midfield injuries though

If Finlayson is named, might risk it and play him to play the BE game.
Keeping Garcia this week pending any news he is out.

Day out for Rankine is essentially what I’m doing. Rankine is a top forward and I enjoy the thought of knowing that. Don’t trust Powell when Wardlaw returns and not sure I can trust Callaghan/Soligo.

Allows me to upgrade Finlayson next week to Tom Green with his juicy run coming up/discounted Lachie Neale. Also will get Bice in.

If Finlayson isn’t named, might hold Day for an extra week. Worst thing is he drops 10k this week, could be worse.

I reckon odds on to be sub.... but I'm also terrible at picking the subs

Looking at the Bomber slineup, assuming El Hawli will be a HB/Wing, it really does look like he will be the sub

On their bench Edwards is a forward, and is a tall
Hobbs is the only mid, and they lost Tsatas to injury to wouldnt make sense to lose another to being sub
Shiel is the senior player who should get priority at halfback
Menzie sounds like a sub type, but theyve named Jones in the forward pocket, surely that doesnt happen? Theyre probably short a forward anyway so im leaning away from Menzie

Genuine 50/50. I think NWM is more likely to be tagged given he is the main distributor in the back-line.

With Sinclair his role is slightly up in the air switching between the backline and midfield.

Where he gets his points from is a bit more varied whereas NWM is solely from Kicks + Marks.

So hard to say. In previous seasons probably Sinclair but teams could view NWM as the guy to stop now

Exactly the same boat. Our teams are structures are quite similar save for you're the half a week/week ahead as I didn't start SDK.

Yeah im planning on getting Farrell this week because of his lower BE then Rankine next week, but it will be close. But also thats if everything goes right/no injuries/outs which is unlikely.

Lord was a test this week so he might be one that comes in the next couple of weeks, especially if Soldo isnt great

Dont see Sweet losing much ruck time to Soldo

Starting to lose my nerve about getting Dawson in instead of one of Lashcroft or Lindsay. But if I get both I'll have $750k in the bank AND still have Ash and Perryman to sort out next week PLUS whatever rookie carnage we cop with Prior/Reid/etc.

I guess in a Best 18 better to store the cash and launch into some upgrades next week for Perryman and Ash.

I have Ash in my team and think he will still be alright. He had one average game in bad conditions which don't suit his game style. Perryman a much bigger issue. Would be prioritising getting Ashcroft and Lindsay in over grabbing Dawson though.
