I think stiff with the extra tassie one.

Overall though 4 we chose, brings it back down to 6 if we reverse that.

giantroo what are your thoughts? As I mentioned reverse one of either tassie, nsw or sa and its perfect, especially given x3 mcg as well.
I think it's pretty good. Our travel is broken up between Melbourne games. 13 Melbourne games helps.

so to recap our double ups

the 2 best in the middle post finals bracket (dogs and blues) could have had saints and dons
the 2 best in the bottom bracket (dees and crows) could have had suns and eagles

in the top bracket got swans

only one we did well with was tigers

Our fixture looks difficult once again! Melbourne not bad. Richmond should be 2 wins. Adelaide likely contending for finals. Sydney far too good for us. Bulldogs have a habit of flogging us. Carlton also should be entrenching themselves in the top 4.

Amazing job by Jenn and the team.

They’ve clearly leveraged the WA deal to get some other wins.
1. No other long haul travels
2. No trip to Geelong
3. More away games in Melbourne
4. More games MCG

Yes, the start is tricky on paper but sooner or later we have to start winning some of these games. Dogs, Crows, Dees should all be in our crosshairs.

Pretty chuffed with this to be honest all things considered. I love going to the G and to get 3 games is a good result. Nice fixtures against the Dons and Pies in primetime should be grouse if we are playing good footy.

Only gripe is the absolute COWARDICE of not giving us the Power at home in Melbourne - just let me have 1 game to get it all out of my system and I can move on.

Dont agree. Melbourne are tipped to slide big time and Adelaide haven’t improved ladder position in years.

Would wager that Gold coast finish ahead of Adelaide and Melbourne this year.

Stiff copping Sydney and Carlton; the rest can live with.

Key matches I demand wins for

Round 2 vs dees - marvel is our house, time to re establish dominance over the dees

Round 4 vs swans at marvel - enough is enough ffs. 2007. I was there. I was drunk. I was loud. Get this shit done north.

Round 6 vs Carlton. I don’t rate these show ponies at all. Hopefully we can finally play term with a full strength backline, which might help the umps not paying 3:1 free kicks against. Statement time.

Round 8 vs * - words not needed. Neither are *. Get the natives restless with braddles.

All things considered I think it's a decent fixture for us.

More Melbourne based games and prime time slots are always a nice little bonus.
No games out at the cattery is good too. A few tough double ups but at some point we need to make a stand. May aswell be this year during some of our prime time fixtures.

For all you SA based supporters I want you to hurt mumma boy and Ports feelings please.

From a selfish point of view, still no QLD games are annoying but you can't have everything I guess. I'll just have to come down to Melbourne myself for a weekend then.

Finally no game at the Cattery next season..and we have our final game as a home game at marvel 😁

No that is clearly an error on the part of the AFL. I fully anticipate the released draw will be recalled.

It will be rewritten and we will see our "rightful" spot playing Geelong at their home ground, which is better known as "Pay an arm and a leg to get in you opposition b******* and sit/stand in s***** viewing areas."
