I thought marquee games would be shown over and above the deal, eg ANZAC day game if it falls on a Saturday. I am pretty sure I read the list of these marquee games, which included Dreamtime at the G.

For Victorians, the first 15 rounds of coverage on Saturdays will be live on Fox Footy. Seven, however, can show Saturday matches on delay. There must be a two-hour gap after they start on Foxtel, or start no later than 8.40pm local time.

Only the marquee Anzac eve, Anzac Day and Dreamtime games will be shown live on free-to-air if they fall on a Saturday.

Its pretty well the most expensive streaming option available in Australia. And it keeps getting worse value as more sports are grabbed by other companies.

Do people actually still watch games on free to air? Only game I will ever watch on Channel 7 is the Grand Final, as I have no choice. The quality of the broadcast is horrendous, it is barely HD. Kayo shits on FTA and costs fk all.

Given that Fox broadcasts every game in UHD 4K, there's no reason to watch on 7 unless they match that picture quality. Then it will become a question of whether or not the broadcast commentators are better on 7, and whether or not you're willing to put up with ads during the quarters.

I'm not trying to be an ass hole here, but I can't help but think that some of these people don't understand than you also need good internet for apps like Kayo if you don't want it to buffer or screw up.

It's super boomer to think "oh I have internet there for kayo must work"
